This hotel fits the standard Courtyard model -- well designed rooms at a reasonable cost. The lobby, however, becomes ridiculously warm during the day due to the atrium design.

An American-style bar is attached which offers a decent drink selection. There is also a restaurant that I did not visit.

As with most hotels in Moscow, the price of food in the breakfast cafe and drinks/snacks at the front desk is ridiculous. Use the market that is about 100 yards down the road instead.

I found the front desk staff to be generally helpful. Decent location. Quiet neighborhood consisting of residential apartments, government buildings and embassies. 15 minute walk to the Kremlin and nearest metro station.

I stayed here as part of a tour to Moscow and everything was perfect. Room was always clean, you have a minibar, breakfast and dinner where always delicious, all personel helpful even though not all spoke perfect English, in a quiet area of the city. Kremlin and Red Square are a 10 minute walk, we where there every night!
Free internet is only available in the lobby.

Room Tip: Rooms only have AC

I was here on business and did not spend time using much at the hotel as I was gone all day. The rate I had did include breakfast, which was quite nice. The restaurant is not much but it is good for a beer at the end of day. My room happened to overlook a meeting room. This hotel was popular duing my stay for family or company get togethers. Oh my! And the microphone was used a lot. And it was noisy but only till about 10 or so in the evening. But it did not help with trying to do work in my room during the evening. But, great location for visiting the sites in and around Red Square and Kremlin. Metro near. Good restaurants near.

Room Tip: Try not to get a room that overlooks into meeting rooms. It's noisy and the lights are on.

Facilities at the hotel were generally good, though vacant tables for breakfast were occasionally hard to find. Free WiFi only in public areas, expensive charge for using it in the room! Staff were friendly and when the ice machine was empty, within 5 minutes Room Service delivered a huge ice bucket full of ice. Excellent location for viewing Red Square in a quiet road. Only has a gym, no sauna which would have been good.

I have to give credit to this hotel for its location, but only that. Since we first arrived, the service was not great as we have come to expect from Marriott. This was definitely not one of the best Marriott hotels I have stayed in throughout Europe. We were hauling several small and big luggage when we got out of the taxi, only to find no one would help us or even open up the doors leading to the reception through the metal detectors (which really had no purpose since at times no one was there). The room they gave us was one to the side of the building, on the very top with not a good view of the roof. One night, I slided the back curtain to avoid sunlight the following morning and the whole rail fell off. It was evident only one screw was holding the whole thing since who knows when. They did fix it the following day, however. The only free wifi was in the lobby, and the area was very hot, to the point it was uncomfortable to stay there, so we went back to the room. Several of us noticed this so I know it wasn't just me. Checking in/out you did not find very friendly people or even anyone that smiled or looked like they wanted to be there. As I said, the area is good, about 15 minutes from the Kremlin, but I will definitely not stay here again and look for another hotel nearby.

Good place if you travel for turistic purposes, but if you travel for business this is the right place only if you stay for few days. Wifi is available for free only at the reception and the wifi in the room is payable but not very strong. rooms clean but nothing special. location is great: you can walk to the red square very easily.

Stayed for two nights here. Great location; easy 15 minutes walk to Red Square and Kamergersky street where many nice restaurants are located. There's also a small supermarket nearby. Now they provide complimentary wifi in room which was a pleasant surprise as we thought there was no free wi-fi in rooms! The only downside was that the alley leading to the hotel from Tverskaya was a bit dark and scary at night.
