“Great location, very pricey”

This hotel is located very very good. It is just 10 minutes on foot to Kremlin and Red Square and it is in a quiet street, so it is not noisy. Rooms are okay, clean, not very spacious as I had read here (not small either). Breakast is average, what I loved are fresh juices they offer, I guess like 5 different. That is a plus. Moscow is an expensive city, that is for sure, but overall this hotel is a 3 to 4 stars if you compare it to western European hotels :)

I had the good fortune to stay at this hotel TWICE last year.
It was recommended to me by a colleague.. and as with all recommendations, you always take it with a pinch of salt.
However... I'm please to say he underrated this hotel.

Service.... Great!
Food.. Great!!
Bar Staff.. Great!
I even got to speak to the Exe Chef... as he patrolled him kingdom.
Front of House Staff.. Exceptional.
Hotel.... from the outside on my first visit.. just another small hotel tucked away. I was NOT expecting the inside... take a look at the web site photos! While they are great photos, no photo can do real justice to this hotel.
Rooms... HUGE.... ok I had a executive room.. well laid out, great in-room services, free internet (fast too!) and the views over Moscow from certain rooms & corridors (not mine sadly) were fantastic.

But although I didn't have a city view.. which only really became interesting at night, and you could see the Kremlin and Red Square.. I didn't care... I got my night photos from various windows and accesses that overlooked the city! Take a look at MY photos from one of the windows!
The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Red Square, if you do visit Red Square, then make sure you use the subway. The police take a real dim view of anyone walking into the road.
To be honest.... once you see the volume of traffic.. only a fool would think of venturing into the road!
I have just read a review saying that they thought the breakfast was poor!
Shame.. I found the breakfast experience to be that of a well polished kitchen staff, with excellent service from the waiters and waitresses. Quick to serve, quick to remove finished plates.. and quick to re-set empty tables.
Yes there are some staff who speak VERY little english.. but not a problem... all you need is to do is find someone who does, and there are plenty of staff that do!!

Point to remember: If you contact the hotel direct, ask them for help in obtaining a visa which you MUST have.. even for a holiday...they will send you a letter of invite so you can get your visitors visa.

I can't wait to go again this next year...

Room Tip: If you have never been to Moscow, then try this hotel, and ask for a room facing the city at least 5...

Reception staff of the Hotel was very good and helpfull but we could not see the bellboy around.
Hotel taxi was very expensive with inacceptable price list.
Breakfast buffet was poor, needs to be ameliorated with its staff who cannot speak English.
Room cleaning was excellent and very quick.

This is quite a nice hotel with all the amenities that a business traveler might want. The clerks at the front desk speak excellent English. They are cheerful and helpful, a big difference from the stereotypical Russian service person. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk to Red Square. The breakfast buffet is expansive, including smoked salmon (my favorite). One downside—free wifi is only available in the lobby; wifi in the rooms costs $10 an hour or $30 a day. I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor facing the courtyard and sometimes I could pick up the free wifi, although the signal was weak. Of course the nightly rate was outrageous but that seems to be the case everywhere in Moscow.

Room Tip: Lower floors may get free wifi

This Hotel was booked for me by the conference - not sure how much they payed. The Hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the Kremlin and Red Square - but is just off the main roads and was very quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was large and very comfortable. The Hotel has a large courtyard area where you can get free internet access - which is very useful. There was a reasonably god choice at breakfast - including a chef making omelettes to order.

I really liked this hotel. I hadn't stayed at a Courtyard Marriott before but I will definitely be staying in one again. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and worth the money. I try not to eat in hotel restaurants usually but I arrived quite late in the evening so decided to give this one a try. I was very impressed. The food was absolutely delicious! Again, the staff were very good and the head chef even came out at the end to chat with me and my girlfriend. We both liked it so much that we ate there again on our last night in Moscow. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

Very good hotel in a very good location
20mn by foot from the red square,( not 10mn as you can read in other reviews) the staff at the reception was really nice and helpful. They did everything they can to make my trip in moscow comfortable and easy: book restaurants, taxis, visits, print access maps.
Ask for a room on the high floors to avoid having your window facing the lobby. We had a room on the 6th floor (smoking floor). Great!! a country where you are free to smoke!!
Rooms are nice and comfy. Bathroom super clean, complimentary water every day
Free wifi in the lobby, high speed
Breakfast was good but not amazing
A perfect hotel, well located
