Spacious rooms, good service and good food. This is not a very big hotel which we enjoyed during our short stay. The rooms especially the bathrooms need to be upgraded fairly soon. While they seem to be maintained well they seem to be ran down.

Great staff. At every turn the staff was responsive, friendly, and helpful. Location can't be beat. I highly recommend. Ask for room with Kremlin view. Breakfast buffet is world class make sure and try the honey comb.

We're in town to run the Moscow marathon, it's a race that's trying to establish itself as one of the big international marathons... seems they forgot to pass that vision on to the hospitality industry here.

The hotel itself is not the 5 star standard that I am used to. While the lobby and restaurants are stunning the rooms are basic (no frills).
The issue I have is that despite there being a big event literally running past their front door this weekend there is no acknowledgement of the needs of any runners staying here. We asked if we could take breakfast slightly early on race day (only 15/20 mins early), but were told 'absolutely not but we could provide you a lunch box of yoghurt and croissant'! As a 5 star hotel I would expect a little bit of flexibility!

Breakfast on a normal day is too busy and rushed, not entirely sure who is being catered for here?

Fitness centre and pool is definitely 5 star however and the only plus of the hotel.

Having visited all the Major marathon cities at race time it's obvious that the hospitality industries of those cities support wholeheartedly the race day experience and make the races the amazing events that they are. Moscow, you've still a lot to learn.

I spent a week in Kempinski.
Bottom line:
The good:
Comfortable room (Deluxe)
Good service
Very good location, walking distance from Red Square and most important sites.
The bad:
Very bad wifi service, very disappointing.
Restaurante, expensive.
My 2 cents:
The Hotel is probably overrated for the money one pays.

We had 2 nights in this very comfortable hotel. Excellent location with hotel just across the Moscow river from St Basils and Red Square so out of the noisy end of town. Rooms large and quite luxurious. Breakfast excellent
