The GUM building is magnificent, surrounded by beautifully manicured flowers. There are a ton of shops, mostly exclusive and pricey but the value-conscious customer can find good value offers. There is a huge supermarket that blows you away-amazing displays of caviar, fruits, spirits and you name it.

This is a lovely department store. We visited during an ice-cream festival. There were long lines for the ice-cream but we could walk around the lines just fine. There were flowers everywhere! The stores inside are high end retail, so you may consider just window shopping.

Very pretty - lots of flowers, and even a fountain inside. Self-serve restauraunt , interesting layout - worth a look.

Very interesting mall, beautifully decorated. They had some interesting stores and a never-ending food hall. Well worth a visit and right near St Basil's Cathedral.

Well set up centre. Huge!! Expensive stores so not for the backpacker type traveller. Nice refuge from the rain on a yucky day. Worth having a look.
