The preceeeding reviews state it all very plainly. The service was top-notch, and the concierge was very helpful and patient. I was able to use points and recieved a beautiful room on the top floor. A highlight was sitting outside on the terrace of the Conservatory Bar at night enjoying the lights of Red Square, the Kremlin, the Bolshoi...It was easy to walk to everything; this is the location where you want to be if you are only here for a few days. My daughter and I loved the amenities from Blaise Mautin.

The Ararat Park Hyatt is an excellent choice for world travelers staying in Moscow. The location is superb given its proximity to the Bolshoi Theater, Red Square, and amazing shopping. The hotel lobby is very sophisticated and quiet. The type of people who stay there are what you would expect from a world class five-star hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the world--business executives, wealthy families, Russian elite, and world travelers. I highly recommend the Conservatory Lounge and Bar on the top of the hotel for drinks, lunch, dinner, and/or coffee. When booking a room, request a room on floors 8 or 9 with views toward the Bolshoi and Red Square. Overall, I've stayed at a number of hotels in Moscow and this is the classiest and most sophisticated option available.

Room Tip: Top three floors with views of the Bolshoi Theater and Red Square.

One of my favorite hotels in the world. Two stays were perfect in all respects. It is a gorgeous building, but it is the staff that lifts this hotel to the very top tier. They are warm, gracious and very skilled at creating a 10 star experience. Very close to Red Square and gorgeous part of Moscow.

They have renovated their suites with wireless touch-smart technology. Window shades, overhead and reading lights, bathroom fixtures, heating and a/c are all smart-buttons, eliminating traditional switches. Cabinets made of quality wood; above average size, super clean rooms; comfy king beds wrapped in high thread-count sheets you would never want to get out of bed; bathrooms fit for a queen come with quality fixtures and accessories, and heated floor---all for your luxurious indulgence. Absolutely high-end design and appeal. Classy indeed. Being newly renovated, a hotel staff will escort guests to the room to demo how to operate the hi-tech features, broadband and wi-fi access. Reception staff are very professional, polite--excellent service. ATM machine is securely located inside the hotel. Certainly good choice for business clientele. Only negative though, breakfast was not included in my corporate rate.

Opposite the hotel is Tsum, Moscow's biggest and trendy department store, and steps away to the Bolshoi Theatre. Across the street is the historic Metropole Hotel, next to it is the Karl Marx statue on Bolotnaya Square, where the new Moscow sightseeing bus turistic or hop-on/hop-off (HOHO) bus begins and ends its route by waiting for about 15-20 minutes. The hotel is conveniently situated and a stroll away to Moscow's famous landmarks: Red Square, Kremlin, onion-domed St Basil's Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, and Historical Museum, where numerous souvenir stalls set up shop.

We stayed here for one night before catching a flight to Paris and we couldn't have picked a better location. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and polite! The Guest Relations Manager, Maria Ladygina, helped me make this special occasion unforgettable. Thanks again for the great stay and for all the special attention.

This is the third time I've stayed at the Ararat Park Hyatt in Moscow. It is my favorite hotel in the city. The service if possibly the best of anyplace I have ever stayed.

Upon check-in, the clerk noticed last time I had provided an airline mileage request so he offered to credit my airline account immediately for this stay.

The coffee barista overheard my conversation with a colleage over breakfast coffee about how the time difference interferred with a full night's sleep, so he offered me an unsolicited additional capuccino.

At check out, they always ask how my stay was and always follow it up with "What can you recommend that we improve upon?" I think this is the only hotel I've ever stayed at that has asked me this question.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It's also in a great location a short walk from Red Square, GUM department store, or the Central Bank.

The restauarnt at the top of the hotel has magnificent views but these do not warrant the prices cahrged for very simple meals, probably double London prices.

The beaty salon charged about $600 for a cut, blowdry, manicure and pedicure. One feels as if pickpocketed or worse. When we complained, we were told that thgeaes price are no more than in London. Where, I would like to know? I think that the very best, exclusive hairdresser would be no more than a third of this and, in a hotel, not more than a quarter or less.

When we complained to the hotel reception, we were told that the salon just pays rent to the hotel and it has no control over the prices. I find this answer unaccepable. So, BE WARNED, do not venture into the Beauty Salon unless you are happy to pay a fortune for an average salon.

Thank you for providing feedback from your stay and for choosing us. Despite your overall satisfaction with our hotel I was very sorry to hear of your experience in the Beauty Salon and your comments have been passed on. In terms of the restaurant Moscow is indeed an expensive city, however we do our best to ensure that our prices are competitive. I hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and rest assured we will do our utmost to exceed your expectations.

Kind regards,
Stephen Ansell
