“A piece of history”

Visiting the Kremlin was like being a part of history. Just be ready to walk a lot. There are so many spots inside where one just stands and looks in awe. And when you come out of the Kremlin, there is an underground super market in front of you where you get very cheaply priced items. Do visit it. There is a Zara Homes there, very nice items!

“Amazing architecture and wonders from a different time in history!”
Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

Amazing bulldings once you find the entrance ! The ticket box isnt in the most obvious location and will not be able to explain that you will want to buy 3-4 different tickets so you dont have to trapse up and down the hill numerous times ! Because i ran out of time i did the armoury and diamond fund one day then the cathedral square and kremlin the next - cathederals were beautiful and amazing artwork/ carvings etc from 15thcentury - there is a separate expo of treasures of kremlin for which youll need a separate ticket ( didnt end up going but sounds intriguing) . Unfortunately in true russian fashion only fpund of the the kremmlin museum /palaces were closed - so guess ill see them next time ! Well worrh a whole day

“Don't get confused when buying your tickets!”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

Thus is the big thing to learn here. Buy a ticket fir the Kremlin and Armoury together, for 700 roubles, not just the one for the Kremlin at 350 roubles which us fir the churches and the Kremlin buildings walk alone. The Armoury gas all the treasures, albeit the cathedrals within the Kremlin complex are incredible.

Before I went, I thought the Kremlin was just a single government building. It isn't. It's an intricate complex if state, historical, religious and cultural buildings. Well worth the visit. Even on a freezing cold day.

No visit to Moscow should be complete without a tour of the Kremlin. A very impressive complex of political and historical importance hides many interesting gems within its walls, some of the cathedrals inside are stunning and of very significant historical interest, a must see! but the jewel is probably the armoury museum which contains a huge collection of priceless objects each playing a part in this fascinating country's history. Don't miss this!
