Amazing. Well worth a visit inside. When I went there was a service going on in one of the chapels which was nice to see and in the main chapel a group of singers who were magical.

It was wonderful to visit an icon of Moscow. It has interesting relics, but not as splendid as other cathedrals. However, for an additional price, you can take photos and video which makes it one of the few cathedrals that allows photography. For me, that makes it even more worthwhile to visit.

I have wanted to see St Basil's for a long time, and it was spectacular! The outside is beautiful, with the colourful domes, and as it was snowing when we were there it made it very magical. Fireworks were going off behind it on New Year's eve too, which made the evening very special too. The interior is made up of a series of smaller rooms, quite different to many cathedrals, but was equally lovely. Don't miss this!

Interesting, especially after dark. Inside tour could have been skipped as there was not a lot to see that was different from other local churchs.

Interesting history of St.Basil and why the cathedral was built....unusual architecture ..typical of the churces in RUssia....very mosque like appearence....but with a cross on top..enjoyed the live choir group inside....and the ice sculptures outside....definitely worth a visit
