“Red Square”

Interesting, especially after dark. Inside tour could have been skipped as there was not a lot to see that was different from other local churchs.

“Little known historic place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

Interesting history of St.Basil and why the cathedral was built....unusual architecture ..typical of the churces in RUssia....very mosque like appearence....but with a cross on top..enjoyed the live choir group inside....and the ice sculptures outside....definitely worth a visit

Again, with a very special sun and a very light blue sky, all the colors of this marvelous Cathedral are unique

St Basil's is a fantastic site. Beautiful and absurd at the same time. It is especially wonderful at night when all light up.

“Magic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

We didn't go inside so if anyone is looking for a review of the interior this isn't for you! It was the color, shape, mystery and magic of the building that so captivating. At all times of the day and night you would see different colors and shapes. If a landmark can be judged by how many photos you take of it St Basils "won" on our trip to Russia!
