Owner description: Red Square is a city square in Moscow, Russia. The buildings surrounding the Square are all significant: Nearby to the South is the elaborate brightly domed Saint Basil's Cathedral and the palaces and cathedrals of the Kremlin, Lenin's Mausoleum. On the Eastern side of the square is the GUM department store, and next to it the restored Kazan Cathedral.

I enjoyed Red Square and all the neighbouring attractions - five-star hotels, cathedrals, department store with authentic local ice cream. The whole area is a tourist delight.

This square is something you only see in movies or documentaries. So much history are embedded in the cobble stones that give ground to the red square. If you like history the red square, among many other places, is simply a must when visiting Moscow!

The Red Square is kinda situated in the center of Moscow, so if you have a map or access to the internet you will find everything nearby, Tverskaya street, museums, malls, shops and dinning places.

I recommend the Red Square to all who visit Moscow.

Lot of history is preserved here. Too many memories of past. 1 full day is required to explore the complete site.

There is a major problem of language so if one wants to check the place then pls hire a guide. All the things in the museum are also written in Russian.
