A fantastic hotel and well worth paying the extra. Immaculately clean and we found the hotel staff excellent but then we are always polite to them which is more than some customers where. Security in the hotel is there for a reason and is for our benifit and again they were also polite.
Drinks were very expensive compaired to other hotels in the area but then the hotels were not a beautiful as this one is.
Breakfast is not to be missed and worth the extra cost and there is a supermarket opposite the hotel which is accessible via an underpass.
Only a five minute walk to the underground which once tried is very easy to use and the ticket machines have an English option. We got to the Kremlin and back for 60 Rubles.
The consierge will print off your return Boarding passes and there is also an exchange bank which will exchange Sterling but it seems Moscow prefers Euro or USD.
If every we go back to Russia we will use this hotel and would like to thank the staff, especially the Lobby Bar staff and the ladies who service the bed rooms for their excellent service.

I stay here a lot when i travel to Moscow and it is exceptional. If you can stay here then you should, the best in Moscow. The rooms are large and the beds are incredibly comfortable, impeccable service with a truly wonderful Spa - you must try this when there, it's as important as the seeing the Kremlin. There is only one hotel i prefer in the world and that's the Mandarin in Prague. Go, you won't regret it, and if you're in the mood to buy a Rolls Royce, you can, in the lobby. I'm still saving for mine.

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the white house.

Everything about this hotel is Incredibly large and opulent: the building, the lobby, the rooms, etc. Beautiful view from the room. I can't imagine many hotels in the world as big and opulent at the same time. Would love to come back here.

My wife, sister and I had just experienced the best late-evening dinner of our stay in Moscow on the 29th floor of the Radisson following our Radisson Moscow River cruise on the night of May 30th. We asked the Radisson Concierge for assistance in obtaining a taxi transfer back to another part of town. Once she saw that my wife and sister were Haitian-American, she became smug and totally uncooperative -- as did the two male jerks that were posing as doormen at the hotel. I approached the Front desk, where a very kind man on duty apologized profusely and immediately arranged a taxi at less than half her quoted price and in less than five minutes when she had told us we would have to wait for an hour.
I hope by now that she has been terminated, or at least sent to Housekeeping where she can learn an attitude toward foreign visitors that does not expose her deep-seated prejudice.
This was absolutely awful, caused the ladies with me great embarrassment and me great annoyance. We have never been treated so badly, and we have traveled around the world together.
Shame on you!

Dear Will M,
Thank you so much for visiting our hotel and submitting a review.
It was great pleasure for us to read, that you've enjoyed cruise at
Flotilla Radisson Royal and had an amazing dinner at Bono restaurant,
located on the 29 floor of Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow. We did a
thorough investigation regarding your comments about the unprofessional
behavior of the employee at the taxi service reception desk. The lady
whom you have requested for a taxi does not officially work for our
hotel. She is a temporary representative of third party transportation
company. As you have mentioned in your review, later you have requested
for a taxi at our official reception desk and have been immediately well
treated and serviced in a polite manner. Our staff is trained and used
to cater to people from all walks of life and color and it's very
frustrating for us to read, that unprofessional behavior of an
outsourced companies' employee cast such a negative shadow on our hotel.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and hope that on you
next visit to Moscow you will give us another chance.

Sincerely yours
Jesper Henriksen

One of the finest hotels we ever stayed at…

The Radisson Royal hotel is probably the finest hotel we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world.
This property is definitely a five star hotel. It is one of the “Seven Sisters” building in Moscow (you need to go to Moscow to learn about the “Seven Sisters”.) The rooms are well appointed. The hotel staff is exceptional. Attentive to all needs and details. The building is very clean decorated with interesting statutes. Fantastic well stocked buffet breakfast.

A definite hotel to consider when you are going to Moscow.

Room Tip: It seems that all upper rooms have a supberb view

The building is one of the famous "seven sisters" Certainly a lovely building. But from the entrance (with metal detectors, militars, security and more unknow personal) the feeling is a bit curious. Too frontal. Then nobody to open doors, to help with luggage, after check in nobody to tell you where to go in this inmense building, you can imagine arrive aftoer so many hours of fly and jet lag to start looking to where to go with your luggage. The rooms are big, with a kitsch decor. everything is over the top. Gold, silk, but over the top. I had the chance to meet the General Manager, a very nice and helpful person. But this hotel is too big. The worst part came after my departure. They sent me a letter (in russian) saying somethink like for "hotel damage" they already have charged my CC with more than 1.500 USD!. They didn't even call to ask me! I immediately called my agent and the answer from the hotel, (Manager didnt reply our mails) was sent a photos of a damage of a door, that I did not create, and also saying that I didn't Checked out! (of course I have the printed bill with me) Terrible experience. I have been in many Radisson's (blu, most of all) around the world and I never had such a bad moment like this. This is strange coming from a Rezidor group Hotel. They are not like this. Certainly a disappoiniting experience.

I stayed 3 nights in this luxurious hotel and I loved my stay there.

good location
luxurious rooms, reasonable size, well equipped (although my room didn't have a view)
very nice restaurants and bars (especially the one in the 31st floor)
helpful staff

Main 2 disadvantages:
WiFI was a bit slow
rooma rate and all prices are exagerated (why should anyone pay 10 dollars for a 0.25L bottle of water???)
