Stayed for a week for a business trip. The room was shockingly small, the bed was a single-sleeper type and stuck in a corner, like something out of an old Soviet hostel. Bathroom is tiny as well, and only had shower and no bath, which is unusual for a hotel that bills itself as 5 stars.
the rest of the experience was pretty pleasant - Checkin was a breeze even at 0400 at night, i got a high floor room i requested (very much recommended) . WiFi throughout the hotel and in the room was perfect - fast and unlimited and without interruptions. Staff reasonably english speaking. Breakfast is AMAZING. View from 19th floor windows, amazing. Hotel very centrally located, 2 min walk to Arbat st. and the metro, right on the Garden ring beltway.
They have a Fitness club with very good equpiment and sauna
Cons: rooms tiny. in-house restaurant is expensive and has no discount for hotel guests,so if you're stuck in for the night, expect to pay thru the nose. The fitness club closes at 2130, which is annoying. There is a traffic police truck camped outside the hotel ,they stop all passenger cars during the night so if you're arriving by car, expect to be held up while the driver negotiates bribeMore
