Just returned from this hotel today. In response to everyone posting about walking to Tulskaya Metro station - there is another way. If you pay for a rail card which gives you access to trams as well then you only need walk outside the hotel door to the tram stop, take the tram south (left as you leave the hotel at the highway side) to Nagatinskaya and the access to the Metro is down the steps and along the underpass. The Metro north will take you in to town. You'll still need to do your homework on station names and lines to get about but once you master that it's very easy and cheap. I paid 500r for 20 journeys so 50p English each. When you consider that if you stay underground that is only one journey, that is a bargain as you can for that price get anywhere in the city or surrounding areas if you work out your changes. The information about local bars and restaurants is also slightly out of date. There are at the time of writing two very new and elegant restaurant bars within walking distance. The first named Mansion is small, only 30-50 people venue but good drinks choice and excellent food. It's in the corner of the courtyard to the back of the hotel. The second named Mary Jane Bar is a little further away past Mansion and through a newly built business/office park but a little bigger with more seating. Both are excellent and not ridiculous on price. There's also a restaurant over the road accessible on a pedestrian crossing only for the brave, although ordering was a struggle due to language. We found the town itself was difficult to eat for sensible money. Might have been the exchange rate at the time 48r to the pound but steak was out of the question in and of the nicer city centre locations. Hotel bar/restaurant was expensive also which is a shame because it's a nice place but you begrudge using it. Rooms were also tiny by UK standards. But it's also very cheap accommodation considering ease of access to the centre and the fact it's new and well kept. I'd definitely recommend it and although the location itself is a typical Russian neighbourhood, we couldn't find any nicer alternatives for the price.

This hotel is not in the nicest of locations. It is a little bit of a walk from the metro (20 minutes) and based on a extremely busy main road. Don't let that put you off though.

The hotel has quadruple glazed windows, so you can not hear any of the outside noise. The staff are extremely friendly and talk good english.
The morning breakfast is really recommend. Great selection of hot and cold food, there is something for everyone.
The evening dinners in the restaurant was great, a good mixture of chef specialities and general food. Which is good as there isn't much in the area at all, except for some small supermarkets.

The beds are extremely comfy, and the rooms kept very clean. The wi-fi in the hotel was great and didn't drop out. Great sized showers and the rooms come with hair dryers.

Well priced but for a someone in Moscow for only a few days in a poor location. A far as I could tell there are no restaurants, only than the one in the hotel which is OK, anywhere nearby and forget about anywhere to have a drink at night.

I stayed in the hotel in July. It is brand new, has got really modern and clean rooms. The staff at the reception are really friendly and speak good English. The rooms are quite small, but the bed is large and very comfortable.
The walk to the metro station is not very pleasant but it takes only a few stops to get into the city centre of Moscow.

Highly recommendable.

Located 5 minute walk from the metro. English speaking helpful front desk staff. Only negative the room was extremely small, but clean with safe depost box and fridge. Also, rooms facing the expressway are noisy. Good breakfast selection and service.

Room Tip: Stay away from rooms facing the expressway. You can hear the traffic and feel strong vibrations from street cars (trams) driving-by every few minutes.
