A beautiful spot in a beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. I have been there twice. I went there last night and they had live music which was subtle and unobtrusive. Food is acceptable, but not great. I had the black ink risotto and the filet of sole...risotto needed salt and some depth of flavor, it was unidimensional. The sole was a little bit over cooked and mushy. The beggies covering the fish did not add eye appeal or flavor. Companion had the octopus in a spicy red sauce that was really good. The dessert of panna cotta with blackberries was very nice. What is disappointing in Moscow restaurants, and Buono is no exception, is the absurd wine prices with little selection. KInda ruins the whole deal. But, I guess, if you are going to live in Moscow, you better get used to the idea.
