Going out to dinner isn't that easy in Moscow when you don't speak Russian. This chain is perfect. They have an English menu and the waiters are very willing to help you. We ordered many different appetizers and shared them amongst the 3 of us. Nice, cozy and really no expensive for the amount of food. We had live music. The only complaint I have is that they allow people to smoke inside the restaurant (even though there is this non smoking sign, all tables have ashtrays.....).

We had struggled to find a restaurant not at a hotel, but where we'd feel very comfortable. This place is trendy, very tasty and reasonably priced. We found it through this site. Thank you everyone for the great recommendations. We liked the dumplings, chicken pousett, roasted pepper with yogurt and bottomless drinks for 500r offered some nights. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant twice last week, once as a couple and once in a group that kept growing. On both occasions we hadn't booked but they were really helpful, even though very busy and accommodated us no problem.

On the second visit we had to kindly ask a couple to hitch along, and then when our group grew even larger we ended up on the end of the table. Quite an inconvenience for the waiter but he just took it all in his stride.

Food was very good again, and we experimented more this time as they had an English menu. Wine too was available and chilled, both by the glass and bottle. Food doesn't come out in any sort of order but all hot and fresh as it arrived.

And we tried the green drink that everybody seemed to be drinking. Cannot remember the name, it's non alcoholic, herby and almost like a digestive. Nice to sip alongside your meal.

We went there for dinner without reserving a table. Luckly it was Sunday and there was room for us without problems. The dinner was extremely pleasant: quick and nice service; great food; a lovely surprise of a man playing the piano for an hour creating a very relaxing and nice atmosphere.

--Food: 1) we had two soups (kharcho -absolutely faboulous! you have to try it!-; and a green soup -good and light); 2) khinkali: kind of very big ravioli stuffed with different things: we had cheese and potatoes, but you can have with meat, salmon or mushrooms; 3) hachapuri: a kind of stuffed pizza with cheese and some green vegetable (absolutely good! you have to try it); 4) lamb stewed with vegetables and potatoes (really nice); 5. a beer and a tarkhun (a typical sweet drink). Before dinner we were starving after a long day walking... but the dinner was great and very very pleasant! Actually a good advice could be to hold your horses while you are ordering because some food, even being extremely delicious, can be a little bit heavy (e.g. hachapuri or khinkali are great dishes but not ...ehm too light :D).

--Place: it is a nice restaurant, relaxing even if without any peculiar characteristic. Just be careful that as always in Russia smoking and not smoking areas can be together. The smoking area is upstairs (to avoid if you do not smoke) and some "flavored smell" of the smokers upstairs can sometime get to the lower floor. However this did not bother me too much, and I'm extremely sensitive to smoking while we eat! ;p The great surprise about the place was a man getting to play the piano just when we started to eat...nice relaxing touch! :)

--Price: we paid around 1.500 rubles (around 40 Euros) a more than reasonable price for two persons with a very good dinner.

--Final advice: I definitely liked the place and the food. I absolutely recommend this restaurant both for lunch or dinner. If it's your first time I'd advice you to take kharcho, hachapuri and khinkali (above there is their description). Extremely good value for the dinner!

Make a reservation and don't hesitate to go! This branch is slightly off the beaten path, but buzzing nonetheless. We dined as a family of 5, and our waiter valiantly managed with us in English. Menus were available in English as well.

The food came in somewhat random succession, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The stuffed breads, dumplings, and main dishes were all freshly prepared and excellent.

The restaurant accepted credit cards, and downstairs is non-smoking. An accordion player featured as entertainment, and wasn't too loud such that we couldn't hear conversation.
