Very nice Courtyard and the first Courtyard I have visited which extended an offer of free breakfast. I'm not sure if this was only because I'm a platinum member with Marriott...as I've stayed at many other Courtyards with this status and this was a first. Otherwise, I found this to be a great hotel and while the location is not city center, it is very close to train and metro stops. Easy to be anywhere in the city in minutes. A 3 minute walk to the airport train is never a bad thing either. Highly recommended in Moscow.

Great location near the metro. Hotel is clean and in good condition. Breakfast is not included in the room price and all the food is quite expensive. I did have one dinner meal there and for a burger, grilled veggies and sparkling water was nearly $50. WiFi is free and is good. The lobby and business center are small. The chairs in the restaurant and the business center are quite uncomfortable. There is an ATM on site which is very handy. The hotel literature and staff spoke/ contained good English---in Moscow is not always easy to find. Good for your business stay, plan on your meals elsewhere.

Room Tip: There are smoking and non smoking floors so be sure you are clear with your request.

I agree with most of the other reviewers. The hotel is relatively new, in excellent condition, the rooms are big enough and comfortable. The restaurant meals we had, actually, very very good, bordering on excellent, and the breakfast buffet was extremely comprehensive and high quality. The staff, once you 'work' them a bit, are very friendly and helpful, with good English spoken.

All in all, a very good price and location. 3 minutes walk from the DME train line station.

The contributor who mentions the absence of extra water after the first night is close to the mark, and of course there is a helpful mini-mart by reception from where you can buy water; irritating but it's not expensive. The only reason that I didn't give it 5/5 was the lack of temperature control in the room - very uncomfortable and drying to the nose etc. Even with the radiator turned off, it was still generating heat, and we practically had parrots flying around..... The bathroom radiator couldn't be switched off at all, so we had to open the window or I couldn't have slept in such heat. The a/c was blowing to order, but they had obviously switched off the a/c for the winter to save money, so it had no cooling effect. Having the window open works, but of course you get flapping curtains and road noise.

Towels, bedding, pillows, mattress - all new and high quality; very comfortable beds.

Perfect location for travellers, arriving to Paveletsky railway station from Domodedovo airport (DME) - 3 minutes walk. For business (subway nearby) and leisure (downtown).
Hotel itself is new, clean and perfect in amenities (gym).
Breakfast is rich and price is reasonable.
Staff is welcome.
Room was quiet - I had business center view. :-)

The only drawback: I had to use their restroom on the ground floor - so it was dirty. That surprises me, why they miss such small detail.

In front of the hotel you may find the bakery - high quality products, they also offer traditional Russian snacks. Check it out, if you are interested in these!

Room Tip: If you want the view, ask front view on the high floor. If you need a rest, ask for back view room...

This is the second time I'm staying with Courtyard in Moscow, and givem the general price level in Moscow, this hotel is a hidden gem. Fast and excellent service. New rooms with all requirements for business travellers. Good breakfast, and good gym! Location excellent for some, but good access to trains and metro.

Room Tip: Level11 and 12

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in October. I booked using my marriott rewards so rate was not an issue. I came on Sunday early morning and was greeted very well. Although the check-in time was at 2, I was given a room around 8 AM. The whole process worked great. The hotel has a small lobby but I guess it served the purpose. The hotel enterance has metal detector so good security. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bed was great and bathroom clean. For me one large perk was free wifi inthe hotel. The breakfast was great with lot of choices although on a pricy side. Although I came through SVO airport but the transport to Paveletskaya was not bad. Since the metro was nearby, I had access to all the attractions in Moscow. Highly recommended.

The biggest attraction to staying here was that its located a 3 mins walk from Paveletskaya Train Station which services Domodedovo Airport by express train. The train is 45 mins, whilst a taxi can be up to 3 hours depending on traffic.

The rooms were clean and of a good standard, though I wasn't all that impressed by breakfast. The lobby is very tiny.
