Stayed here for one night ,and my friends stayed here for a week.I enjoyed it so much.
The room was clean and decent.They provided free breakfast,WiFi ,TV, Mini-fridge,Kettle and laundry too.
The staff were friendly. There is a fitness center and Pool also.
The hotel is located near a bus station (3 mins by walking).
Perfect for Solo travel also great option for Couple or friends.
I highly recommend here for travelers and especially for new STUDENTS who just arrived moscow and want to enroll for RUDN University , Lomonosov University or The RNRMU.
It definitely worths the price , I hope you'll enjoy your visit.

A true gem in cold Moscow
I am originally from Moscow and left that city about 25 years ago. Now, when I visit Moscow, I know where to look for a decent place. the hotel Salut is one of such places. The hotel serves superb breakfasts, it offers free rides to the nearest airport and metro station, and it deserves its four stars. The front-desk people are very polite ans will do more than possible to meet your needs.

Reasonable
I was in salute hotel during fifa world cup
It was very very crowded but the service is good.... regarding location, the hotel is far away from the downtown but they offer a free shuttle bus to the metro station every 15 min...the breakfast was bad and has no variety....by the way I think it will be better after world cup

Comfortable hotel
Stayed here for 11 nights with a group of 85 visiting Russia to play in the Spasskaya Tower Military Tattoo.
Comfortable rooms, nothing special but rooms equipped with mini fridge and kettle.
Food was ok, a little different from the normal English diet , with boiled sausages and scrambled egg that came in a big block to cut from-but passable, coffee was good though. Plenty of food available but just unusual unless you’re Russian I suppose.
Lifts were always busy at main times to get to breakfast, but then 11 other big bands were also staying at the hotel and some were bigger than ours, same if an evening upon return to the hotel.
In summary OK, but a little different however all staff were very helpful.

Did the job !!
Booked 4 night stay at the hotel Salut during the world cup. They could do better with the check-in process. The hotel is average but I felt safe through-out. Breakfast had enough varieties to chose. Free shuttle services to Yugo Zapyana smetro station did run every 15 minutes.

The concierge people really did amazing job they were very friendly and very helpful in providing information to many sites in Moscow.

Changing money at the bank branch which is at the back was seamless with no questions.

Lastly the bar service was poor as they were overwhelmed with people, however the bar servers tried their best to accommodate football fans special mention to Elena who covered one of the night when I attended the karaoke session.

Average hotel
Have stayed at this hotel twice for sporting events attended. This is a hotel that tries hard to be special, but its layout is unpractical and facilities just average. The cooperate with the gym in the basement if you want to work out or swim, but it's quite pricey. The food here is also not that much to write home about, and the location is really out of the city. You need to walk 15 mins to the metro and then another 30 minutes from there to get to the city centre.
