The restaurant is located directly on the Patriarshiy Ponds. A nice location inside and outside for coffee, lunch, dinners, and receptions of any kind. The interior is cozy, set in a Russian style from the turn of the century. The service is very friendly and helpful and some staff speak English very well.
The food selection offers many traditional Russian dishes starting from salads (Mimosa), appetizers (minced herring), all the way through to the desserts. We found all dishes to be very tasty and nicely presented. They also manage to serve "European style", meaning all appetizers arrive at the same time, all main courses arrive at the same time, etc. This is not very common in Russia, where often dishes are brought to the table when they are ready.
The prices for the dishes are very fair as well.
Overall, the restaurant is a strong recommendation.
