“Ok for short business trip, if you do not worry about location”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

The hotel is very typical business hotel, if you have no time for anything else, because otherwise location is not good and fine with eating in the hotel. Although hotel food was quite expensive and it is also boring to stay in the hotel all the time.
I managed to find one club-restaurant just 200 meters away from the hotel on same street. For a longer walk weather was too bad.
Breakfast was tasty, but very busy.
In general, it is one of the hotels, which you are ok with staying, but than can hardly remember anything from it.

Only one hidden tip is the sauna area, nice, clean, cozy. The hotel was full because of large conference, but surprisingly on both evening I was alone in sauna area. Weather outside was terrible, so it was a nice relaxation after business day.

This is a very good business hotel. The service is good by the admittedly low standards in Russia. I had an annoying issue with room service - they demanded a deposit or additional hold on my credit card before they would deliver room service. Never had a hotel ask for an additional hold for room service. The linens are good in the rooms. The bathrooms are clean and roomy. Water pressure was pretty good and temperature was consistent. The room in winter is by default hot but I was able to lower temperature to be tolerable. The hotel is good but other than the casino nearby not much is in easy walking distance. The hotel restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast.

I’ve mixed feelings after being here, I won’t return. The room was ok but nothing special and too warm. I tried to adjust it but didn’t seem to make any difference. Noise from the corridor was significant; doors and chatter. One slim piece of soap between shower and sink for 4 nights was mean but fresh towels every day and bedding changed in 2 days. Good food but way too expensive; 1100 Rubles for a breakfast that was 7 out of 10. The restaurant was a bit of a barn. There was an “Irish” bar but with zero atmosphere and no draft Guiness - eh! Efficient and commercially competent staff but no smiles. Good hotel but in a crap area. Hardly anything nearby in the way bars and restaurants that looked attractive. For the money spent I’d want better next time; 40,000 Rubles for 4 nights. There's got to be better.

My three-day visit to Moscow was short and sweet during the bitter-cold month of February. Happy to report bitter-cold refers only to the weather!
Prior experience in Russia encompasses a few brief visits to St. Petersburg over a decade ago - I did not know what standards to expect in this massive, urban metropolis. For me, my every expectation was met - beautiful modern room, comfortable and clean, luxurious bed and bath, and an accommodating staff more than satisfy my needs. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly and knew enough English to help me out (I know no Russian!) However, communication with the housekeeping staff required a lot of sign language and big smiles.
As a business guest, the sumptuous breakfast buffet was included in my stay and was ultimately the most substantial meal I had each day (my hosts ate a LOT of soup!). Again, staff and servers were graciously accommodating - a cook who emerged from the kitchen even offered to make me an omelet. I may have "stood out" as the only American in the room, and his offer provided a touch of home.
I will say, walking anywhere in those frigid temperatures is practically a big NO, unless you don a gorgeous head-to-toe fur, as many of the Muscovites do. Because I was transported everywhere I went, I had no need to deal with mass transit nor taxi arrangement, as some of these reviewers mention as problematic, but if you're on foot, make sure it's something like summer temperatures or you wear several layers of long underwear. Seriously.
Loved the hotel, would be happy to return!

This modern hotel is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk to Belorusskaya train/metro station. There is also a free hotel shuttle every 30 minutes if needed. To walk to The Kremlin/Red Square is an easy 40 minute walk down one street (if you don't want to take the metro).
The hotel itself is modern and attractive, with helpful staff. Breakfast was of a high standard with plenty of fresh food and many options. The room I had was on the 17th floor and had a nice view across the city. The room was spacious and well set out with all modern amenities, a comfortable bed and a modern, large bathroom.
I have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay in Moscow.

Stayed there for week in November. Very convenient location. 15 minuted by walking to Belorusskaya Station. Also the hotel provides shuttle bus every 30 min, which is very convenient in cold russion winter. The staf of the hotel is very quick and efficient. Rooms are nice, modern and clean. Bathrom has both buth tub and shower cabin.
I was lucky becuase during my stay there were a Spainsh days in restaurant so the food was deliciouse! Food in Filini resturant just simply the best and very italian.
Quick check-in and check out. I will definitely stay again in this hotel and recommend it to my friends.
