The hotel is conviniently located near the subway station. It makes it fairly easy to get to the hotel from the airports. It costed us RUB1000 to take a taxi from Sheremetevo Int. Airport to the hotel. The trip took us 2 hours due to terrible traffic. I suggest everybody to take express train!
The reception did not speak English, except for one guy. We took a standard room for one week and president room for 2 days. The prices are high comparable to some hotels.
The room was very small. The main disappointment was the size of the bed. It is exactly one meter in its width. We asked for extra blankets, because the room was cold at night. The screet of the TV was smaller than the screen of my 13" computer! Only one channel in English.
Internet is available in the rooms, but it is to be paid separately. Free internet is available at the hotel's dining room.
Breakfast is included into the room cost. It is verry basic. However, there are no better places for the early morning meal around the hotel. The only restaurant we found suitable for dinner was the Italian corner restaurant (located in the same building).

Most of the hotels in Moscow are too expensive for what they offer: shared bahtrooms, very far outside the city and metro, no or poor breakfast, only Russian speaking staff... If you want to avoid this, you can find good hotels, but at least for 100 euro or USD / night.
Okhotnik is an excellent alternative: it's straight over a metro station (on the same line to Belloruskaya, where you have transfer to the Airport train), with good rooms (curtains closing completely, like expected elsewhere, but not in Russia) which included private bathrooms. I can't complaint: the shower gives the temperature of the water that you want: also not common in some Russian hotels. The breakfast is a buffet, with an acceptable choise.
The location isn't interesting, but with the metro in less than 1 minute walking, you can go where you want.
Don't forget that Russia isn't Europe and that the standards of hotels where very poor and just for this I find Okhotnik an excellent place: it offers European standard, even without frills, but more than good enough.

property that can not be deemed to three stars, at least by European standards. Expensive. air conditioning did not work , bed not comfortable (I had six days for back pain.) there is no point intenet with computers, television programs transmitted only in Russian. Breakfast was not exceptional. only positive note is the proximity to the subway.

I stayed at Hotel Cosmos once, which I don't recommend. This time we decided to try Ohotnik. The name is a little odd. My customer joked about it. However the hotel is as good as it can get.

At arrival a small lobby greeted me. I wouldn't call it lobby. It's more suitable a reception or check in area. At the reception 2 beautiful young ENGLISH SPEAKING ladies ready to check me in. I have to enphasize ENGLISH because it's hard to find a hotel with English speaking staff. Hotel as big as Cosmos didn't have that. Checking in was swift to my surprise and well explained with all the details I had to know. INTERNET (WiFi) was available at my room with a 10 hours 500 ruble cost. The elevator was extremely small, but equipped with 2 of them. This way customers are moved faster. I had a typical Moscow hotel small room (regular double). The room was new and clean. The furnitures were regular but new. The TV was 20" LCD with a poor remote signal. I had to get close to the TV to change the channels. There weren't many channels to watch so it didn't matter. Bathroom very clean an new, with shower and no bathtub. Hot water was great but at 7th floor the water pressure was poor. The room was equipped with a small refrigerator with expensive drinks and snacks (didn't use any). Beds were 2 smallest single bed I have ever seen. You have to understand, I am 6' tall and the bed didn't offer enough room to move around. However it was comfortable. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. However they never changed the menu. I stayed for 6 days and we had the same things for 6 days. The hotel was 1 minute away from subway station and there were a lot of stores around the station.

Over all, Ohotnik is an excellent business hotel. I have to point out the pros:
1- English speaking staff with excellent sense of service.
2- Clean and tidy room, again with excellent staff (cleaning lady) who does an excellent job keeping it that way every day through your stay.
3- Great location (close to airport and city center)

I would definitely go back on my next business trip if they vary a little the breakfast and a bigger bed. Just kidding, I will definitely go back on my next trip.

By the way, there's a food stand across the street that sells roasted chicken. It's excellent. For 160RUB a chicken, you will delight yourself. I did!!

Hotel is very new and clean. Staff spoke sufficient English and were friendly enough. Very close to metro station and easy to find, although the surrounding neighborhood is not somewhere you'll want to spend any time. (The area seemed safe enough; it was just a bit grubby and unappealing.) Per other review, 30 minutes to Red Square is about right.

Rooms and beds are tiny. Breakfast was entirely edible and sufficiently varied, although "sumptuous" is going a bit far. Previous review also mentioned a mini-bar deposit, but this was not required or even mentioned during our stay.

Overall, entirely decent if absolutely unmemorable. Would stay here again if necessary, but something closer to town would be better (if you can afford it). Booked through SelectRussia.com and had no issues.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in Moscow and I can say that this was the best so far. It was clean, quite, breakfast buffet was excellent (selection, quantity and quality), the room was well looked after plus bar and restaurant ware very good.

The staff were always very helpful and there was always an English speaker available.

Location initially seems a bit out on the suburbs but with the Metro only across the road Red Square was only 30 minutes away and only 19 roubles a ride.

Because it was away from the tourist area the shops, supermarket and cafes close by were at a sensible price, a beer from the mini bar was 150 rouble but across the street from a kiosk only 50 roubles. Pizza place next door as well and other take away kiosks just a step away from the hotel.

If you need to go to the Crocus Exhibition centre the reception will order you a taxi which is also at a sensible price, don’t forget to ask the price first and it will vary depending upon the quality of the car. Its about 15 minutes in the morning but a lot longer coming back to the hotel due to traffic on the ring road.

If I have to make one negative point then that would be it is on the wrong side of Moscow for Domodedovo International Airport only because the taxi fare will be around 3000 roubles. But there is an express train into the centre and then a metro ride to the hotel. But on the right side for Sheremetyevo International Airport.

A great hotel for the price in Moscow and I can highly recommend it.
