The rooms are not bad. Nice sheets, bed was nice. The pool is very cold and the food is decent. Not good...not bad. Dont expect much of a quality food.

The waiter service is terribile. I always had to go to bar to order.

I spent two nights at Casa del Sole which was really a sun (Sole)! Location is great, rooms were excellent, extremely clean. The pool is also greats.

But the most fantastic and amazing thing here was the service. Staff was very friendly and flexible. Giorgiana Mateescu, who works in the reception, was super attentive and flexible. She provided the type of service that any guest would like to get. She did not say “no” when I asked her to use the sauna 30 minutes later than the closing time but she said “I will at least try”. Thanks a lot Giorgiana for all your help!

I definitely recommend Casa del Sole!

Don’t look anywhere else! This is your place to stay in Timisoara!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The buildings and grounds are lovely and very well kept. The room was nice and large, comfy and spotlessly clean. It’s unusual for a hotel of this standard to accept dogs. We asked for a reserved parking space and were delighted to see our name on a space, lovely touch. We were only there for one night but would visit again, but maybe in the winter when the air con isn’t needed as it was useless, noisy and just not good enough. That coupled with the fact it was only duvets no separate sheet on the bed, made for a hot and sticky night.
To get in or out of the hotel grounds after midnight you have to ring a bell and get the staff out of bed which made me feel terrible, there must be a better way.
The breakfast was very poor, not much cooked choice, just eggs and cut up hot dog sausages, not many pastries etc.

My family made a trip to visit friends to Timisoara. We arrived July 4th and found this oasis in the middle of city. Our room was overlooking the pool. The breakfast spread, which was included, was traditional. Eggs, sausage, crepes, cereal.

On July 5th, the hotel was hosting a private party that was encompassing the restaurant and pool area. I had no issue with this since we had reservations at restaurant off site until the music started at 10:00 PM. We had the windows closed and I put in ear plugs, but the music was still too loud.

As I went to the front desk to ask about how long the event was to continue, I had to hold my ears closed due to the volume. The front desk told me the party was to end around 11:00 PM to midnight. I asked if they could have the music volume reduced. It was done, but others in our party still could hear it until around 3:00 AM.

Only July 6th, we found out that the pool closed at 8:00 PM. This is unusual for the middle of the summer. I know many other places would have the pool open until at least 10 to 11 at night. We were told that was to prevent disturbing the guests. After the previous night, I found this very confusing.

If you are making a reservation, I would recommend that you find out if there are any private events planned for your stay.
