Very nice ambiance and decor. Full view on the kitchen, with young dynamic staff.
Service a bit slow, and prosecco a tad too warm...
The salmon tartar is divine, and the shrimp with leek stuffed squid is visual and delicious, especially the reduction that accompanied it. Ingredients are fresh, and cooked accordingly.
Eclipse 2011 - crama basiliescu - simply perfect match.
Even the ice-cubes are correct- no air, perfect shape, and not icebergs.
The foie-gras was perfectly pan fried and seasoned, leaving it soft on the inside, and crisp outside, accompanied with a balanced and matching quince jam. As for the filet minion with shrimp and sabayon sauce, was simply a delight! The meat and shrimp perfectly cooked, on a bed of tarragon with a spoon of calvados onion confit, and the sabayon fluffy and full flavoured. Gastronomic orgasm....
For a fan of creme brulée, I must say it was refreshing to taste a home made, authentic style one. Mmmmh!
Oh, and for a very reasonable price!
