The hotel is located at the upper floor of a mid-sized shopping center. It is also right across the Provincial Capitol and walking distance from a branch of SM Department Store.

I stayed in a Modern Deluxe Room, which I understand is the result of their rennovation of the Deluxe Room. I would say the good things about the hotel are (in random order): 1. room is nicely decorated 2. card-entry system 3. closet doesn't have a door which keeps the clothes from smelling like the closet, which is quite unpleasant based on previous experience 4. location is good (if you don't mind stepping out of the hotel and into a shopping mall; noise from the mall is minimal and doesn't reach the rooms) 5. good breakfast buffet spread 6. room reservation is easy; 'booked a room through telephone and the hotel staff kept my reservation without asking for a deposit or credit card details.

On the other hand, the not-so-good things about the hotel are: 1. my companion was billed for laundry that he didn't order (the error was corrected after some explaining), 2. door handle in my room is loose, needs fixing. Also, I didn't like that my room has this large opening in the ceiling covered by grills. I feel rather paranoid that someone can open it and get inside my room when I'm out or when I'm asleep. Overall, this hotel is one of the better places to stay in Iloilo.

Room tip: Ask if they have rooms with windows.

We had our graduation dinner there last March and they serve good food though the venue is quite small if you have many guests. You may have difficulty with the parking because the parking lot is shared by mall goers. The good thing is the hotel is just at the 4th floor of the malls. If you need something or when you are hungry, you can go down anytime. This hotel is very much accessible to many places like hospitals, SM, Gaisano City, schools, etc. It would be very convenient to everyone.

I booked this hotel online precisely because of its location. It was very close to the places where I had business with. They weren't kidding. This hotel is in the 4th floor of a mall, across the street from the provincial capitol. I don't think you can get more central than that.

I was hoping to get a small room because I was alone and it was just an overnight trip. I got an inexpensive room that had 2 double beds! I should have brought someone along. Apparently, this was standard.

I was a little apprehensive about the noise level. When I checked in, mall activity was in full swing and it was noisy. But, when I went up to my 5th floor room, it was unbelievably quiet. I slept well that night (after a full days' work).

The breakfast buffet was substantial and surprisingly multinational. Even the locals say that the breakfast buffet is good. A plus is that the staff were also very courteous and helpful.

I probably would not recommend it for a honeymooning couple but it is a more-than-sufficient business hotel and it will serve well if one just needs a place to crash. Nice enough.

There is a spa and gym but I didn't have the time to use either.

The hotel itself was very clean but it looked tired. The atmosphere was a little drab but I think it is due more to the choice of color of the carpets and walls than the hotel itself. Time for a renovation?

Like the location here, it's total city center. Front desk is at the 4th floor of the building which is a bit odd. Front desk were all lovely ladies, efficient and friendly, but need a bit more training and authority to decide on things.

I liked my room which was bright, clean and above average in size. Bathroom is also very cozy.

Breakfast was standard buffet, good enough. Hotel has a nice gym and spa too. No pool though. There's a Chowking and a Mc Donald's downstairs should you be on a budget.

Room tip: Ask for window rooms if you are claustrophobic.

I really cannot fault this hotel, the truth being, it was not my first choice, but I am glad I stayed here. I was welcomed at the airport by a very pleasant driver, and the staff at the hotel were all very friendly.
My room was clean smelt fresh and was spacious, the air-conditioner worked fine and wasn't loud like some are. The bed was firm and comfortable.
My internet connection was reasonable [ 3 bars out of 5 ] and I had no trouble surfing. The location is great just min. from a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, coffeeshops, and most other shops.
I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast Buffet, that was included in the price.
All in all I paid about $45 per night, and it was well worth it. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I would recommend it to others.
