“A must for museum lovers.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

The museum is right in the heart of Iloilo city, so if you're in the area, it's worth a visit, especially if you enjoy going to museums. It's not a huge one but it's well-taken care of and collection is small yet notable. Entrance fee is P25.

Visit the website for upcoming exhibits.

“Good collection”

I brushed thru the museo Iloilo this time and find their collection interesting. The entrance fee was just very minimal and worth your time.

“modest but has the essentials”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is a newly built, very modest museum, though perhaps rather elegant and rich for a small city. Their chief exhibition is the reconstruction of an ancient burial ground transferred from its actual site in the city. This is its most precious archeological finding and rich in its bestowal of historical notes on the region. There is also a rich collection of santitos, the wooden, carved statues of saints and holy personalities. It is well maintained and professinally managed.

“Small historic pieces”

The place is a nice stop however, is not really a must to go to.
Museum is small, but they have preserved rich history of Iloilo inside.
