this trip was the second time i was in Plantation Bay but this was the first time i actually stayed there for a night. I had a pool-view accommodation which was actually nice because i didn't need to go far to have a swim. I wasn't really a fan of the lagoon especially when i saw the color of the water. And the beach was not nice as well, it was walled so it looked small. Good thing the pool was just right downstairs.

I had a big room, just right near Palermo cafe. i like their bathroom! it was different and big and it has a bath tub which was really nice and big mirror as well! they didn't have a bathrobe though but they have hair blower.

Their staff were very courteous and nice! Maybe the only thing they need to work on is to not have the guest wait. I inadvertently closed my door with my key card left inside the room. I went to Palermo to make a call and then i went back outside my room to wait. I was waiting for around 30 min and i thought maybe they had forgotten so when i saw their car service, i called the driver to check on my problem. After another 5 min or so, the staff arrived to open my door. Other than than, it was all a good experience! i went to a cafe near kilimanjaro ( ?) and ordered dessert there! it was VERY DELICIOUS and YUMMY. Definitely, 3Choco Fascination is a must-try if you ever happen to be in Plantation. I'm still craving for it. They have much nicer staff there. When i was about to go, the staff offered to call their service to take me back to my room. very nice.

Their breakfast is good too. I especially like that they had " tropical fruits" alongside the usual fruits served for breakfast.

All in all it was a pleasant experience. It was like staying in a wonderful community, like a homey country clubs.

Room Tip: rooms near Palermo cafe, since it's pool view.

We travelled with two families for 6 nights and stayed in the lagoon side rooms. This was a great choice as it meant the children aged 2-12 were able to swim at arms length while we relaxed. There were other pools to choose from which worked well - the volcano fresh water pool for happy hour and the larger central pool for kids and adults alike with bar and slides and a variety of depths to appeal to all children. Our children loved the variety of activities - archery, rock climbing, games room, biking, riding on the horse and buggy and the jeepney around the resort. Also the cliff diving and kayaking and fish feeding were popular too. The breakfast was costlier than most, but the food was of a superior quality. The entertainment was impressive at the theme nights and we particularly enjoyed hawaiian night, singing and dancing with the performers. Likewise we appreciated the hospitality of Titto the pianist at Palermo Cafe, and the staff who organised a birthday cake for our son.

All in all, the rooms were spacious and clean, staff were all remarkably friendly and a place worth returning to.

Room Tip: Rooms closer to the lagoon allow you the option of not having to shift all your belongings to get a...

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite Iquazoo building. Was very well appointed and spacious. Girls really enjoyed the nice bathrooms in our rooms. Was near to Kilamanjaro restaurant which provided very good food and service. Staff was very attentive from check in to check out.

Room Tip: all room locations seem to be good and close to large salt water lagoon and activities

We have just finished our second stay at the wonderful resort. Last year we stayed for 4 days and loved it so much that we had to come back this year. We stayed for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the perfect holiday spot for a family holiday. There are no noisy nightclubs and drunken hangouts, which tend to spoil the holidays for a family. Instead you get a great and friendly team of staff members who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Like anywhere else in the world, treat them with respect and friendliness, and you get it back ten-fold! The rooms are great with a wide variety at various prices, the atmosphere and grounds are fantastic and there are a lot of things to do on the resort which means you don't have to travel around to amuse yourself.

I will gladly recommend this resort to people that want to have a great family or tranquil holiday.

I was in Cebu for 2 weeks with my wife and decided to go stay a few days. I was not disappointed. It was amazing being able to step right off your deck into the Lagoon. The pools are so big, that it is almost like having your own private pool. Yes they are salt water, but who cares. It's like swimming in the ocean without having to worry about all the nasty things. (*note they have several freshwater pools also).Very very uncrowded and laid back. I will go back for sure. I even took my wife to the shooting range and discovered she is a natural with an M-16. They have a real Colt M-16 A-1 fully auto capable with an M-203 grenade launcher attached you can shoot. Imagine that ! The instructor apologized for not having rounds for the 40mm Grenade launcher.. ( I had to explain I was joking) LOL.

We also got couples massages for 1 hour for 50 bucks apiece. That is unheard of cheap at a resort much less anywhere else. The same massage at a resort in Jamaica or at at health spa here in the states is well over 100 dollars.

The Breakfast bar was a little pricey but heck your at a resort. It was almost the same price as the buffet at the Radisson downtown. There are other options. The in room Breakfast was about 10 dollars U.S., which is not bad at all.

All in all for what you get it is a real bargain. It is beyond friendly and if you want to do your own thing it is big enough to escape a crowd. I recommend going down to the dock and feeding the fish. The attendant got a bag of bread and the fish put on quote a show.

I plan to stay for a week next time and if I had known how nice it was I would have come out of the province and stayed longer this time.

Room Tip: They don't have bad rooms here.

We have just finished our stay in this hotel (7 nights). Let start by the positive points: very kind staff, a lot of different pools and...
For the rest, many aspects must be improved to reach the rating of a 4/5 stars hotel: the lagoon (which is artificial!) is very durty, the beach towels are stained ( time to change them!), the staff is not competent (phone call during the night, very slow reaction when we needed a simple ombrella), the breakfast buffet is disappointing (for 24u$, you could expect at least a fresh orange juice), no possibility to have dinner close to the hotel. Overall, if you want to come to Philippines, you can probably find better deals in Boracay for example.

My family celebrated the birthday of one of our children in this wonderful place, we were not expecting that this place is really awesome. There is a beach with white sand, a swimming pool, a cozy hotel rooms where you can choose staying near the pool or near the gardens. The theme of this place is like a resort within a resort, you will not get tired of surprises. We had our money's worth. Our daughter's birthday was unforgettable and besides all the staff are friendly and more than accommodating. We asked a man who is working there about a spot we where about to go( the place is huge and you might get lost) he really went out of his way to show it to us. Thank you for the unforgettable stay definitely we will go back!

Room Tip: Choose the room near the pool you can swim even during night time.
