Days Hotel Cebu Airport

Days Hotel in Mandaue City, Cebu has a commendable service. Their rooms are very spacious even with a triple sharing, very clean including the hallways. Service crew readily available and functions are manned diligently. Taking into consideration that our group were compose of Indigenous Ethnic Groups, they were given utmost respect and a wonderful experience. Coming from far flung provinces and remote areas with varied ethnic culture, they were given tailored fit service with consideration from the type of food served, to providing the various room amenities. Kudos to their General Manger Ms. Lilet and her staff.

Clean, comfortable room located 5 minutes away from the airport. No wifi though (despite a big sign in the lobby saying that they do have) in the lobby or rooms. There is a small business center (1 copying machine, 1 computer) that you can use free of charge, and the restaurant across from the hotel (Santiago) does offer free wifi.

Good place to stay if you need to spend one night in Cebu City before jetting off to another island.

If you need a room near the airport, this one is the more reasonable option. It's one of those old-fashioned hotels. They give you free newspaper every morning, I rarely get this service in Philippine hotels. The interiors and facade look old, too.

The staff are very helpful, especially the security guards who would call a taxi for you when you ask them. The hotel has free wifi in its restaurant only - which is on a separate building. So it's quite a walk to get free wifi. There is no free breakfast, and the restaurant has unbelievably unreasonable prices. Get your meals somewhere else. There are lots of restaurants down the street, you can walk or get a cab for about 50 PHP to get to the restaurants. The hotel has great location and is practically halfway between the airport and these restaurants.

It's so bad. NO, really, it is so~ old and worn down. We landed at 2 am and the hotel picked us up (after I had to email the head office because the phone number listed online doesn't work). The only good thing was that is was about 10 minutes away from the airport.

The staff were very friendly and I feel bad that they work in such a dump. The A/C was SO loud that it took us over an hour to fall asleep and then were woken up by mosquitoes throughout our sleep.

The sheets had old stains on them and the beds were very worn out.

The breakfast was average - you'll end up upgrading to the cooked meal for perhaps 100 pesos each (can't remember exact price, sorry).

We wouldn't stay there again, even with a short turn around time.

first of all, the hotel it is wrong pointed on the map ( on kayak).
they didnt know that we are coming and i ve done the booking on their website, in the first we had a room at the 5th floor but we changed because it was smelling like..., i think that the entire floor was under reconstruction or redecoratimg.
when we went to the second room with the hotel manager, in the first she knocked at the door, they didnt know if its anybody inside or not.....? strange....
at dinner in the menu it is not translated the principal meals, like apetizer, soup, sushi, we order a tuna and the waitress didnt told us that is with raw meat....
when we were in the room somebody feom the staff came in the room and she wanted to take all the beverage from the fridge, she thought that we thought those were free, such a stupidity!
the gym is in a hotel room, i never saw such big gym in my life!:)
more and more but doesnt worth!

When booking this hotel make sure you know what your getting yourself into. We was promised complimentry drinks with complimentry massages for 2 people and 2 complimentry breakfasts. ( what a joke that was!) After a long boat journey and taxi ride, we checked into our room which seemed old and dated and everytime u flush the toilet there's a really loud noise in the pipes which vibrates the room. It says there it has wifi in the rooms. Not mine, there was no connection what so ever. Safety deposit box? You have to workout how to use that on your own because no one tells you it has to be activated on arrival. This took all of 3 hours to get that sorted. If you want your free massage, good luck! You will probably find out you have to keep phoning reception for one and they will say we are folowing it up and nothing happens. Then you find out the massage is only for 1 person not 2! What rip off! When it comes to sleeping make sure you are really tired because the bed sheets are old and wornout and can get very itchy.
Breakfast? Haha. Firstly they don't seem to have enough tables for their guests and the food is tasteless. Also make sure you check the rates for this hotel before booking. Seems like their website needs updated and most definitely the hotel. My advice look somewhere else to stay unless your really stuck. Don't expect much good service from days hotel.

Location wise - it's great, although I'd recommend staying at waterfront since it's RIGHT Next to the airport, especially for layovers...days inn is about 600m down airport road. They say they have Wifi, but really only in the lobby. We missed a night due to fog and the clerk stated "we didn't charge you", but the truth was expedia did and they got there money and again from days corporate on the actual night we stayed. The tried to be helpful but having only ONE (of six?) sockets working, with no adapters avail for into travelers was a bit tough for our family. The hair didn't even work! One light bulb?,..but hey it is considered a value at $57...not 75. Thevtricks kept coming,...the "free" breaker fast" amounts to limited choice of toast, coffee, or juice or you could "upgrade" and eat the food spread out around you buffet style. Just felt misled all the time...the wifi, the charges, food, power, even the shuttle use. Not bad, bit god luck. If this hotel fixed their wifi, made shuttle avail to waterfront casino and other locations and were more upfront on breakfast I'd recommend it, bit not the case.
