Stayed here for a weekend getaway with the family. From the airport, it will cost you P150.00 per head one-way if you avail of the hotel's bus or P375.00 one-way for a coupon taxi. We took a regular taxi and costs about P170.00 for a 30-45 minute trip. If you travelling up to 4 persons and with more than two luggage, get a coupon taxi instead and request for a larger vehicle. Got a deluxe room overlooking the city, not much view though. Room and bathroom was very clean (its only a 2-yr old property). Just be careful getting in and out of the bathtub. Pictures and details in their website is accurate. Security within the hotel is very tight. Guests are mostly Korean. They have a lazy pool, kids pool with playground and a larger pool, the deepest part is only 5 feet. There are two slides with age/weight restrictions. Believe me, these restrictions are to prevent accidents that can ruin one's vacation. Beach is not good though. Free use of life jackets and mask/goggles for snorkeling. You need to get wristbands before going to the pool/beach. At first i thought it was silly but found it justly so when it was later explained to me. Apparently, many guests, mostly locals, would take advantage of this by booking a room, good for 2 adults and two kids only, but then the whole clan would follow in later and say that they are guests of the hotel quoting the number of that single room. You are also given a towel card per guest and use this to get your beach/pool towel. Don't lose it or it will cost P900.00 per card. Complimentary buffet breakfast for 2 adults kids and kids up to 4 years old. The food selection needs more variety. There are free shuttle rides to the malls but with only two scheduled trips. There's a playroom for the kids/adults like a billiard table, table tennis, etc. Overall, i would recommend this hotel its security and pools especially if you travel to Cebu on vacation with kids. Everybody was polite and my family enjoyed their stay. It was a nice weekend getaway.

Great place to stay for a family with kids as they have not only a huge pool but a great waterpark attached to it as well. We stayed in a two bedroom suite as we are a family of six and the room was huge with a great veiw of the pools outside. Nice choice of resturants but plenty of local ones just a short drive outside the hotel too. They have activites for kids by the pool in the evening which my kids loved and the staff were always very polite and helpful. The kids club is great too with various activites for different age groups. We loved the fact that we could do a little bit of snorkeling just on the small inlet of the hotel and the snorkelling gear is free of charge. There is no beach as such but with lots of other things happening , we did not miss it at all, besides once you get out and about there are beautiful beaches everywhere. Would recommend doing an island hopping boat trip with the kids as we hired one from outside the hotel(so much cheaper) and had a beautiful day trip with snorkeling and a BBQ. Love the Philippines and can't wait to go back!

I have stayed in this hotel around 3 times since it opened. The first time was in 2009. The service was still great, food was good. The next time i stayed i was kind of disappointed because the aircon in our room was not working and even if you complain they did not do anything about it.
My worst stay is last July 2011. The management is already new. They have new policies like you have to wear a hospital type white bracelet every time you go swimming. Their beach towels are so small and thin. When you ask for towels after you swim the staff in charge will give you a hard time about it since they have a policy that they will only give you 2 towels per room. How about if you have kids? This is suppose to be a luxury spa hotel but their service is so bad that you would think you are in a dormitory! If they would only improve their service since the rooms and facilities are nice.
I would never stay in this hotel ever again. Shangrila-Mactan has the same rates but nicer beach and excellent service.

1. Must enjoy the slides before it closes at 6:30PM;
2. Must enjoy the pool before it closes at 9PM;
3. No wi-fi service inside the rooms so netbooks can not be used. however, you may request internet cable for your laptops;
4. If you wanna enjoy great, safe and affordable seafoods, dine at Manna Su-tu-kil which is a 15-20 min taxi ride from the hotel;
5. Return flights should be scheduled around noon time or in the afternoon so that you can still enjoy the pool and slides which will open around 8-9 AM; and
6. Taxi ride from hotel to airport takes around 30-45 mins.

Room Tip: Choose the room fronting the pool/beach/slides so that you may know if the pool/slides are already o...

We stay at the Imperial for two days but I wish we stay there longer, my boy's love the pools, our room is even up-graded from De-luxe room to suite room. All of the staffs are nice, the room is huge good enough for my very active 1 yr. old baby, and there's a free usage of almost all the facilities, you don't need to go out to enjoy Cebu, there's a lot of good things to do in the hotel, it's a little bit pricey but you will get the value of your money.
I highly recommend this hotel with people most especially those traveling with kids, they will definitely going to have a good time in Cebu.

The resort is located in the south end of Mactan Island about 45 mins. drive from Cebu City. Me and my brother's family went there for a daytour and inclusive on this package are the use of waterpark, swimming pool and a dinner buffet. The first thing you notice is the significant number of Koreans tourists, maybe 90% of their guests. There is one big, main pool in front of the 2 hotel edifices, a lazy river with a small waterpark in the middle and on the southwest part of the resort where the 3 adrenaline-packed slides are located. I tried the funnel-shaped and the long, green slide. i enjoyed both rides. I think the best part of the tour was the dinner buffet, they serve a wide array of authentic asian cuisine like korean, japanese, chinese, filipino with an excellent desert station.
All-in-all i can say that the resort is a perfect place for a luxurious weekend getaway.

This was a lovely hotel about 30 minutes from Cebu Airport. Unfortunately the ride from the airport was a real eyeopener. The area was extremely poor looking with goats, chickens and dogs roaming around freely and people living in what looked like tin shacks. Then you turn into the driveway to the hotel and it's a different world. Pure luxury with excellent service.
Our suite was on the 9th floor and consisted of a lounge area with bar, fridge and microwave; LCD tv and balcony. Huge bedroom with another LCD tv and en suite bathroom. There was a separate toilet and a second toilet off the lounge area.
The hotel was very well cared for, very clean and tidy and the service excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
