We decided to try Abaca following the reviews on Trip Advisor, we weren't disappointed. The lunch menu is not huge but sufficient to give everyone a choice. Yani, our server, along with everone else was, friendly, attentive and efficient.
I had the asparagus soup, the portion size was just right and the soup delicious. My husband had the prawn cocktail which came with three enormous prawns, he said the Rose Marie Sauce was excellent. We then shared two main courses, the Veal Papperdelle and Lamb Shank, both of which were excellent, the veal in the pasta was melting and soft, the lamb shank unctuous with the meat so well cooked the bone was left completely clean.
Being Brits we enjoy our tradition of Sunday Lunch so will definitely visit Abaca again, we might even venture out of the city one evening to sample their dinner menu!
