“Great Chinese Food in town and good service”
Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

Just had seafood dinner, steam crab was great, steam suahe and must try the stone fish. Of course kids all time favorite sweet and sour pork with fookien fried rice and sweet corn soup. Waiters always around to serve you.

“One of the best chinese restaurant in Cebu”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

At the front before entering the restaurant are all their aquariums that holds all their live seafood. But inside, they have 2 indoor large scale aquariums. These used to hold huge looking Kois and Arapaima, but they have replaced these to smaller fishes. Its a pity because those huge fishes were a come on. The cockattoos at the other wall of the restaurants are also another attraction for the restaurant. But wait, we have to talk about their food. Their food are generally delicious, typical chinese but not necessarily cantonese as others claim. On a few occasions their food needs more consistency with the taste, but that is expected through time. This latest trip to Ching Palace was to attend a party. They have several function rooms at the back of the restaurants, while the front part caters to regular clients but these can also be reserved.

Reviewed June 26, 2012

Good variety of dishes, especially seafood. Affordable and have tables which can take 12 or more. Prompt service and pleasant experience. Many local chinese frequenting the place, a good sign that food is authentic.

“authentic and moderately priced”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

salivating for an authentic cantonese dish? yang chow fried rice, pork in sweet and sour sauce, pancit canton, patatim... and the list on your mind goes on... the place to go is at the ching palace in salinas drive lahug in cebu city. five stars for their menu. one of the best tasting chinese restaurants that i have been to.

call them for reservation if you are planning on a dinner feast becoz they are fully-booked most of the time, especially at night, and it's a little difficult to park your car even if they have a huge parking space at the back of the resto. lunchtime is not so crowded though.

i would also not suggest if you plan to eat there on your "me-time" or if you go solo as their menu comes in big sizes. their small size dish will be good for 2-3 or 4 persons. but if you don't mind ordering and taking home the leftover then it's fine. the dishes are also moderately priced.

“CANTONESE FOOD AT ITS BEST”
Reviewed February 19, 2012

If you like well cooked cantonese food from a large menu and don't mind the large family tables, with maybe a few boys running around with their ya yas chasing them , dis is the place.   Better to go with six or more.  You are in Canton upon entering!  And, moderately priced.  Go early.
