“NEVER AGAIN”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

this is a corny place with irritating servers who are so over the top in their obviously forced perkiness, i have nothing against a happy smiling environment in establishments but to almost "shout" at you when they greet you or to have such a high pitched voice while taking your order is just a tad annoying! and WOW talk about zero value for money!! hahahaha a pathetic steak as big as a clenched fist and as dry as cardboard costing more than a thousand pesos (after tax blah blah blah) is a JOKE, add a bit more and you can have a decent steak at David's! so, there we were, ordered 2 steaks with their joke of side dishes (mashed and coleslaw), 4 glorified fruit juices and 2 beers and voila! after tax and everything it was 3,000 hahahaha i dont mind paying this much if i weren't in a CORNY PLACE, OVERRATEDFOOD, CORNY ATMOSPHERE AND CORNY SERVERS IN CORNY COSTUMES. trust me, you're better off eating in Cafe Laguna or La Tegola around the corner!

“Great USA Style Food”
Reviewed February 18, 2012

I hadn't been to a TGIF in years. I was in the mood for some Western style food and I picked the right place. You would have thought you were in a TGIF in any state in the USA. Sure the prices are pretty high for Philippines standards, but the food was excellent. It was so nice to have some pasta that wasn't sweet for a change. The Jack Daniels chicken and shrimp were outstanding and a large portion. We had potato skins for an appetizer and they even brought the appetizer before the main course. The also brought our meals together after we finished our appetizer. Don't know about other places in the Philippines, but at our home in Dumaguete, you rarely get food served together and often desert is served first and appetizer comes last.

“OK, but with hesitations”
Reviewed December 3, 2011

I ended up wikth 3 friends at TGI Fridays when Casa Verde close by was fully booked. We ate outside.
The service was friendly (like usual in Cebu) albeit it a tad slow (noticeable, but not disturbing).
Food was good. Not fantastic but good. What surprised me though is that the price level was higher than in the Casa Verde restaurant, where the food is actually a bit better as well.
That probably partly explains why Casa Verde (close by) was fully packed with people lining up out side and TGI's had still plenty of room.

Would I go there again? Perhaps, really, it was not bad, but I had prefererd my original choice. For the food one is getting it is a bit too expensive.
