It was a public holiday, and yes it was very busy, but we enjoyed it very much.
Co-coordinated booking for your tickets and Co-coordinated entrance otherwise it would have been a fight. Will be going back, very good thanks

Philippne cinema at Ayala Center has the same basic comforts and ammeneties of North American mall "movie-plexes". Usually, there are about 6 or 7 Philippine (Tagalog) movies to choose from and 3 or 4 Hollywood (English) features. The Hollywood features are censored versions of what we get back home, meaning nudity and swearing are cut out, but still high quality. Also, the Hollywood "new releases" and upcoming attractions are about 1 month old.

With that being said, there are a few bonuses... namely the price, for about P220 ($5) you can enjoy a flick with popcorn and a drink. Also, there seems to be no problem bringing your own food and drinks inside the theatre. It seems strange to me, but I've seen pasta, pizza, McDonald's, Jollibee and even homemade dinners being brought inside. Kind of an added bonus.

For a really cool experience, try the CineMax at SM Mall Cebu... About P500 ($12).

The price is only 180-190 pisos for a movie the staff is kind and efficient and i like the popcron and fresh drinks near the food court. Also the seats are very comforable, so I am very happy every time I go there.

I love going to the movies in Cebu. There are as nice and comfy as anything back home in the West. Comfrotable seats, airconditioning and all the popcorn your heart could desire. One thing I find interesting is the choice of snacks people from different countries take into the movies. In America, we would take candies and buy popcorn/coke. In Korea, locals will take dried squid, Kim Bap (like sushi rolls) and juice. Well in the Philippines, you will see local patrons taking their Jollibee spaghetti into the movies. Sometimes variety is the spice of life so I'll enjoy my Filipino Hotdog-Banana Ketchup Spaghetti while watching Iron Man 3 this month!

Here you can find most of the things you are looking for. Good place for shopping, take some food and to find quality items if you do not have time to look around smaller places in a city.
