“Cook your food your style”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

This is a good place to have your own food cooked your style in a hot pot. There is a variety of vegetables and meat that suits your taste buds.Prices are reasonable and the setting is one of a kind in Cebu.

“Good, Basic Shabu shabu”
Reviewed November 16, 2011

I've eaten at a lot of shabu shabu restaurants where you cook your food in a boiling pot of soup stock. Shabu Way is your basic type of shabu shabu, where the choices are not as elaborate as other similar restaurants. However, the prices here are also cheaper than those restaurants. They give you the sate, chili, garlic, and chopped spring onions which you either put entirely in the soup stock, or put some in your sauce. How it tastes will depend with you. So don't blame their kitchen as you will be the one doing the cooking. As with other shabu restaurants, you can ask for soup stock refills as often as you want.

They offer set platters, plus you can order add on meats, veggies, or those different kinds of balls. In Parkmall and Cybergate branches, each person has his own cooking station. The one in Ayala Mall Cebu has a bigger cooking pot to be shared by two people sitting across each other. Their set platters come with a bowl of plain rice, and a scoop of ice cream. The food is quite good, considering the basic choices.

If cooking in a soup broth is not your preference, they also have a la carte menu. I've never tried their a la carte, because I am in a shabu restaurant, why should I eat a la carte?
