Wanted to try this new hotel which just opened November 2010 and we were not disappointed. The modern lobby was spacious and not noisy and busy like other big hotels. The front desk is on one side while the bar is on the other side. Check in was easy. We decided to upgrade to business class because of the included amenities and breakfast. The staff here are alert, courteous and helpful. They offer help even before you request for it like bringing your bags, calling for a taxi and assisting you for any inquiry.
The room has equally modern interiors and very spacious. There is a lounging chair on one side and a work desk with several outlets for your electronic gadgets which is very useful. Modern technologies like an LCD TV and iPod docks are also in the room. On another side is a cabinet with mini bar and a Nespresso coffee machine, something I've only seen in ultra modern hotels of the world. There are also bathrobes, safety vault and even a flat iron and ironing board inside the clothes cabinet. Newspaper is delivered everyday outside your door.
The bathroom is also spacious and has good toiletries, a hair dryer and a digital scale. No bath tub though, only a shower enclosure. There is also no exhaust.
Included in every business class room is access to the executive lounge where you can have free cocktails, light snacks and desserts between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm. Breakfast is a choice between the all-day dining Feria, the executive lounge (for those who have access to it) and room service. We tried both Feria and executive lounge and I found Feria has more choices of food since it's a big buffet. But if you're not into big breakfasts like me, you would prefer the more quiet and more exclusive executive lounge. It's also buffet style but less choices here although there is everything you would also need to have a filling breakfast like the traditional danggit, beef tapa, hams, cheese, breads, salads, desserts, juices, coffee and tea. Eggs can be ordered any which way you want them.
We requested check out at 3:00 pm because our flight is at 5:30 pm and we were granted our request which was generous of the hotel and convenient for us. Check out was a breeze. They just asked if we consumed anything from the mini bar and when we said no, they said it's ok we can go. They didn't even ask us to wait while they check the room. We were happy with our stay and would come back when we visit Cebu again. We would also recommend to friends.
