Max's Restaurants is a major restaurant chain in the Philippines, its signature food chicken. The chicken at some locations of this chain is excellent, but at some other locations, I have found from experience, it is mediocre. However, chicken at this Ayala Center location is excellent, and so I recommend this location for those who would like to order chicken. There are two kinds of chicken at Max's--spring chicken, which theoretically should be more tender, and the nornal chicken selection, which will mean a larger portion of chicken.
Often the soup of the day at Max's Restaurants is corn crab soup. However, I did not find the corn crab soup at this particular location worth ordering.
Restaurants ordinarily do not have good vegetables, and if they do, it can be a sign the restaurant has superior food. While I tried the chicken at this location, my wife ordered binak bet, a dish of pork with mixed vegetables, and I thought these vegetables excellent, after my wife offered half of her dish to me.
Right outside there is also a fountain provided by the Ayala worth seeing.
This restaurant is in the part of the Ayala Center called the Terraces. You will have to go outside the main building to get to the Terraces. which has many restaurants. There is an information desk on the first floor of the Ayala Center which will give you directions.
