Description: Maya was created to be a casual restaurant and tequila lounge: laid back and subtle, with efficient service and reasonably priced. The sophisticated yet casual allure of Maya seamlessly blends old world charm with modern elegance. Succulent aromas from the kitchen mix tradition and ingenuity while setting the stage for your dining pleasure. Maya also has the largest selection of 100% pure agave tequilas in the country, which in addition to our premium house pours are sure to charm.Maya is committed to the timeless tradition of Mexican food – utilizing countless ingredients and dishes, and perhaps most importantly, the rich family tradition of preparation, which is done by hand using the freshest local ingredients that are regionally available. By embracing both Mexican tradition and local sensibility, we offer a creatively classic cuisine that unites well-known Mexican street food from the stalls of Mexico City and family dishes from the coast of the Mayan Riviera and the inventiveness of the Hispanic American communities of California and the American Southwest.

Second visit here, and I like to visit places again to confirm if the time I had the first time was accurate. In this instance it is, the food here is great.
The ribs are to die for, so tender, so tasty. We had chicken wings too, and these although a little small, were very good too. Crumbed, and fried, they had just, for me, the right amount of "zing".
Prices are very reasonable, the service is good, the food great, the ambience and décor are unusual and a little quirky. Can recommend this restaurant highly.

You could be selllng any kind of food here and people will still go for the ambiance, which is dark and clubby. But it would be a lot more appealing if they paid attention to the food which was a step above fast food Mexican and several below street food your basic carinderia that you would find anywhere in Mexico or the US. The tequila bar is impressive but just give me a few good tequilas and I am usually fine. Who can taste the difference in a margarita anyway, which is what everyone was drinking. This is a place for the kids to go and be glamorous but it's not much more than that.

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant, no need to say "for the Philippines". It holds up to Mexican food anywhere.

I had the fajitas with carnitas (shredded pork), very nice.

Only mild complaint: the tortillas were a bit dry and some were crumbling.

the ambiance is very nice, definitely a date place. Visitors are snapping pics of the masks.

A little pricey "for the Philippines" but not terribly so, I spent more at restaurants in Ayala Center, and this place looks much more expensive.. Lets see, fajitas 595 pesos, San Miguel Pilsen beer 95p/bottle. And the location, in Crossroads Mall, after your meal there are several bars nearby you can go lounge in.

No added service charge.
