“The Most Beautiful Museum in Cebu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

We enjoyed our visit in this very colorful, lively old house in the historic district of Cebu. The house is very old, and the furniture and items in this house are also all antique. The items are not locked up but left out to be admired better by visitors.

“Nicely Preserved Residence”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

This is a privately owned residence. They decorated the place with lots of antiques. The dining room table was set with nice, old china, among others. They have a collection of antique statues of saints made of wood. The guide seemed knowledgeable of the place. Very interesting place to see.

“Filipino house represents”

If you want to see a traditional Filipino house then what are you waiting for? Go here! Walking distance to downtown and the traditional furnitures are amazing.

“Weird and wonderful old house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

Just around the corner from the Casa Gorordo Museum, the Yap Sandiego House is a real surprise. It looks like an overstuffed antique shop, full of fascinating furniture, objects, paintings, and a pretty little garden out back. The staff is really friendly and you are allowed to take photos.Apparently the owners still live there from time to time. This is a fun place to stop and visit, but do it early in the day, as the light is very dim in the late afternoon.

“A peek into the past”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

The house has its needs but overlook the muss and enjoy some history. The artwork is is need of restoration but is still beautiful. The house is furnished and you can visualize life in the past . In the garden you can see a palm boat used to travel to McTan island is now a flower box. Take your time looking over the various pieces of history. The surrounding area is also historic so you can easily connect things together. Enjoy.
