Great hotel. Nice staff. Rooms are clean (even if I stayed at a smoking room). The breakfast buffet is very good. I had an early flight and the front desk offered pack breakfast for me. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

I just spend four days on a business trip. The hotel is one block from Ayala Mall, however, you have to cross a busy highway to reach the mall. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is highly trained and friendly. The pool is clean and the fitness center is good. The only down side of this hotel is that the internet is PAINFUL SLOW. Overall is was a great stay and i recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I took advantage of the "breakfast in bed". The breakfast was served on time and good qu...

A well managed hotell in Cebu. Nice rooms and friendly staff. The restaurant was a bit empty, but in general I think the hotel was good value for money. No complaints etc. Some dodgy blocks a bit away, but you will find them yourself.

I stayed here at this hotel 7 years ago (2007) when it was newly opened. I was curious how it is now after hearing a lot of speculations about it closing down after the untimely death of the owner in 2010.

Behold! It still is standing tall amidst a lot of competition in the vicinity. Back in 2007, you can view Ayala Center from the poolside. Now, the view is blocked by the nearby hotels/buildings. But nonetheless, the facilities are well kept. Except for a few.

The room looks the same. Their TV has not yet been upgraded to LCD yet. But function wise, it has complete channels to choose from. They still have a functioning bathtub in the toilet, hairdryer, toiletries, etc. But I suggest a little more emphasis on cleaning/improving it as signs of wear and tear are visible. I am very particular of toilets in hotels and the older the hotel gets, they should focus more in maintaining the toilet.

We went to the pool. Now they hold summer swimming classes for kids. That's a fine idea. The jacuzzi pool is still there. Now they have installed the bars in the shallow portion of the big pool, this I think is for kids learning to swim. The pool attendant is very accommodating, by the way. Towels were handed immediately.

Buffet breakfast at the restaurant has still a lot of choices. They should maintain this as this is one of their good points. They also hold dinner buffet which draw a lot of locals and guests. I have seen their merienda ciena buffet in one of their posters in the elevator but have not tried it.

Check in and check out was quick. A big improvement from the last time in 2007.

Room Tip: They have smoking and nonsmoking rooms. Don't bother to choose a good view room since there is n...

Welcome back to Park lane, well it has improved and it has its downs also. First things first there is not so much of a view in some rooms seeing as they have got two hotels built next to it now. Access to Ayala is not as simple as it was before. There is now the terminal there for the jeepneys which makes it kind of confusing.
As suspected Hotels.com have sold me accommodation with incorrect information. They stated I would get two twin beds in a delux room, when infact it is only an option in the plus rooms. I knew when I rang back the second time the guy who sold the accommodation was incorrect and was just trying to get a sale. Well its not the hotels fault it’s the broker which I will be filing a complaint anyways.
I ended up upgrading to the Plus room and oh man what an upgrade! I had access to the Executive lounge, free cocktails, free laundry and free mini bar so it ended up not so bad. Room was as expected but a little disappointed that the TV hasn’t been upgraded to a flat screen but it didn’t really matter because I was using our own which I was bringing for family.
Swimming pool was fine, gym was great with all facilities. Cold water provided and also towels also. The area has kind of become a bit squished because they have opened a restaurant on the same level. The view from the swimming pool awesome.
I got a personal call 5 minutes after checking in to make sure everything was fine which I found was above and beyond, I haven’t had that kind of service before. Internet services were as expected, I was able to do what surfing I needed.
Overall the experience was great and I would defiantly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again. Hopefully the city doesn’t get too congested otherwise it will ruin the experience.

Room Tip: upgrade to the plus rooms you get extra pecs which are the top up to your visit!

The front desk are not so nice at all. They are not accommodating as what front desks should be. They cannot even give little leeway on check ins and outs even if they have very low occupancy. They do not provide you options.

Food is pretty bad as well.

They also fooled us with the rooms, saying its a deluxe type only to find out that its very small. And we paid a deluxe price. TV is very small too and it is placed at the same level of of your bed so you cant really watch TV while lying down. The TV is not even LCD let alone LED!

Price is comparable to other hotels in the area that give better service and better amenities.

We stayed in this hotel which has nice, tidy and clean room! The only problem we had in the deluxe room is that they probably need to change their old showerhead. The hot jacuzzi and swimming pool was a very good experience for us and we love the hotel for its location which is just a short walking distance from the Ayala mall!
