We visited Davao Wildwater adventure in Sept 2009 as a group of 11 people. My tip is to book directly with them as other travel agencies/hotels inflate the price. We paid 1500peso per person but you will pay slighly more if your group is less than 5. The day starts early at the crocodile farm, to get all your gear and watch the video, then this is followed by an hours jeepney ride to the start of the rapids near Calinan. The staff were excellent, very entertaining and went out of their way to help you. When we got on the river we were told it was higher than usual due to the recent rainfall and this was soon apparent. Most of the river is quite tame but there are sections with names such as 'the washing machine' and 'kiss the rock' which get a bit hairy! The guides bring some food which is actually quite good but we chose to bring some of our own too which you can eat during a stop at the side of the river. The scenery is spectacular, unspoilt beauty and there is a waterfall halfway through which you can stop off at and swim under. The day ends in one of the biggest rapids which managed to capsize 1 of our 2 boats but everybody was ok. Finally you end up in a small resort which has a good deep swimming pool which you can rinse yourself in before the hour long jeepney ride back to the crocodile farm. We finished the day off with a few San Migs and crocodile steak along the riverwalk at the croc park. Overall an excellent day, all the guys there are great and everybody had fun, even our youngest member of the party who was only 8 years old (the minumum age allowed). I would recommend this to anyone who has some spare time whilst in Davao.
