Spent 2 nights there at an Aster room.
The Aster rooms are without other facilities than 2 beds ,lights and an electric fan. Pillow hard as a baseball bat, rooms in need of a renovation and so are the common toilets. Showers ok.
The cottages and other overnight facilities maybe better but would not know, although they seem popular with families and groups.
Beautiful surroundings with a nature trail where you pass through rainforest and the various parts of the park. A couple of big trees had tumbled down and damaged part of the trail but with some effort and crawling you will get through. This is being fixed.
The park is Overlooking Davao from abt 700 Meter Above Sea Level. Cool and fresh with forest of pinetrees, well kept good birdpark and butterfly park area. There were few visitors during the weekdays I was there so the personnel gave good briefings on what they had of insects, birds etc.
Enjoyable and educational.
They have in addition to the flower parks also extensive salad/vegetable growing areas and their food and especially the salads were superb.
Overall I enjoyed my stay ande it is well worth a trip.
