“WORTH GOING TO”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2013

This park is beautifully maintained. The air is cool up there. Entrance fee has option of 1) with snack or 2) with lunch buffet. Chose the latter and were pleasantly satisfied with what were served.

You will have free ride within the premise and you'd see their different parks. You'd have a guided tour and appreciate the place more. They have a zip line and worth trying. One may opt to go fishing and have your prize cooked there and enjoy it. Or you may simply go to that area and order fish dish/s and have your lunch by that pond.

There are various photo taking opportunities. Going to this park is a good change from the city itself.

“Exciting Eden Nature Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013

Eden Nature Park is a wonderful place, even if the rooms are spartan. I think the reason why the amenities in the rooms are sparse is because it is trying to position itself as a "Green" Resort, therefore there are no air conditioners, and their television sets are not up-to-date. After all, you want to go there to be one with nature, and not to stay in your room to watch TV. The food is healthy, as they grow their own organic vegetables. We particularly enjoyed the fishing (it was easy because they stock up their pond regularly with Tilapia), and eating-what-we-caught, experience. They wrapped our fish in banana leaves and deep fried it. It was so good! Also, the operations manager, Celia, took care of us very well. We wish we spent more time in the place. The next time we visit, we intend to bring our hiking boots and will do a lot of hiking.

“A family destination”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

Eden Nature Park is a family destination. Ecotourism is being promoted here. They have different themed gardens around this huge park. Nice airconditioned rooms and cottages for rent. Truly organically grown food served during their daily lunch buffets. Small jeepneys move around the park to transfer guests from one location to another. Nice set up and beautiful park.

“Davao's mini version of Baguio City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

In my recent trip to Davao last month on a business planning session with officemates, we took a guided tour to this place. It is about 45mins - 1hr from Davao City proper and it is their version of Baguio City, i.e. a tourist attraction perched on top of a hill, zigzag roads, cool and sunny weather, pine trees and a cultural performance from a local minority tribe. In fact, you wouldn't imagine that you are in Davao if you visit this place because it will remind you perfectly of Baguio City. There are three areas here for picture taking. Once you take the shuttle ride, it will stop at those 3 areas, i.e. the rainbow garden and the minority village are two of those places. This is something totally different and unexpected from Davao City. Fresh like a scent of pine trees indeed.
