Been here several times now during daylight hours. Took a long time to get the staff trained to understand when a couple or 3 people come into the place together and choose and order their food together that they actually want to eat at the same time. The horrible and bad practice of serving which ever dish is ready first and to heck with Appitisers main meal and sweet is alive and kicking at the French Baker
When they first opened the wait staff had electronic pads to punch in your order and a strange routine of asking you to pay on order!!!. It maybe called a cafe but it is a restaurant with wait staff and food delivered at the table which makes it a restaurant.
They seem to have abandoned both the pads and the request for payment now
Now the night shift is different. All I can think of is that when they arrive at work they have 20lb of lead inserted in their shoes they move so slow it's liking watching a slow motion reply.
This also seems to have had the effect of removing all smiles and personality.
Yep ordered 3 dishes and recieved them in the wrong order with me receiving my food several minutes before the rest
Mr chef please take a look at your cook book and throw away the recipe you are using for French Onion Soup.... Because it's not!!
Why do staff have to mop floors as you are eating?
The place has lovely decor and ambiance and is always a hit. The staff and food is luck of the draw
Price wise - acceptable on a "good " day, expensive on the others
Get at least one or two permanent wait staff that can monitor the rest
And it costs you nothing to smile and ask a customer about the meal
