“A nice hotel right beside a mall.”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

Great breakfast but i noticed the lack of fruits considering Davao city is known to have plenty of fruit production. Staffs are very helpful. One time, i want to go to Abrezza but it is raining, the hotel provide an umbrella. We also receive free cinema tickets.

Room Tip: A room facing Abrezza has a nice view at night.

Dear Ashly999,

Thank you for sharing your experience at Seda Abreeza. Fruits are indeed abundant in Davao and we will endeavor to enhance our breakfast buffet with a wider selection. We hope you have been able to use the cinema tickets. We sincerely look forward to your next stay with us. Best regards!

Situated just beside Ayala Abreeza Mall with a very great ambiance and is fairly-priced. hotel is relatively small, however, you will have a homey feel because it is a boutique hotel. Staff are efficient and friendly. Breakfast choices are good. They have have great promos once in a while.

Seda is clean, accessible and very nice hotel. I was on a business trip in Davao for 3 days and needed to be somewhere near Abreeza Ayala Mall. This hotel is perfect for me and my colleagues. It's very practical because we normally finish our work late nights and we just have to walk right across the mall. I feel safe in and out of this hotel. I guess I feel safe generally when I'm in Davao. :-)

The rooms are well ventilated with a good television, nice work table, water kettle for coffee and tea, ref, nice lighting and nice bathroom. My only comment is the quality of the toilet paper...it's kind a rough and the position of the dispenser is for left-handed people.

The breakfast is very good in terms of taste and variation. I like the crispy danggit especially! I suggest that they add waffle or pancake to add in their menu.

I will definitely book again here!

Wonderful place. amazingly friendly staff and great customer service. As some fellow travelers have put it, "Customer is king" here. Right across the shopping mall and very convenient location. I have stayed at the Marco Polo, which is also an amazing hotel, but this one great for its price and the proximity to the shopping mall where you can find a range of dinning and shopping options.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great, but getting a room on the right side of the building will get you a nice vi...

I have been visiting the Philippines for eight years and it has been noticeable in the last few years that standards are improving dramatically, the Seda Abreeza hotel is a classic example.
Recently opened it sits adjacent to an equally new and substantial mall, bot complement each other. The design and layout of the hotel is bright and welcoming from the moment one enters the open plan lobby, there is a friendly seating area and an attractive restaurant, my only criticism is the lack of a dedicated bar area/lounge.
The rooms are fabulous, spacious and comfortable with state of the art bathrooms, flat screen tv and fast Wifi.
Breakfasts were good but not outstanding, lunch and evening meals came from a sensibly short but tasty menu and if one prefers then just cross the road to the mall.
I understand that Ayala are rolling out several of these branded hotels which is good news for guests, they would work well anywhere in the Philippines.

Thank you for citing us as an example of the improvements you have observed in the Philippines. We are happy that you appreciate our facilities. As a boutique business hotel,we have endeavoured to provide a complete range that would serve the basic needs of our guests. We are building more Seda hotels in key Philippine destinations and hopefully, you can visit each one in the course of your travels to the country. We hope to see you again soon!

(1) On the banquet/Conference part of our stay: Seda was chosen for a major office meeting, first one to be handled by me. Staff was very accommodating to every concern we had at the conference room, especially on the AV/technical side. Food serving was more than enough, selection was wide and delicious. (2) On the rooms: Week we stayed was time when there was a convention of engineers, practically all rooms in all hotels and pension houses were taken. Unfortunately, it was also the week Haiyan/Yolanda struck. Hotel staff were accommodating enough to grant us extensions on our room stay, informing us way ahead that we indeed still had rooms for the night, sparing us the inconvenience of moving from one hotel to another. For the members of our team which unfortunately could not be accommodated, Seda facilitated transfer to other hotels at no extra cost to us. Their extra-TLC in no small way eased our anxiety as we were stranded in the hotel during the early days post-Yolanda when flights were canceled/delayed.

Very hospitable staff!!! Great location - right beside the Abreeza mall :)
Although some of the guests would walk a good half kilometer to get their nicotine fix under the scorching sun in front of Itallianni's - the hotel should place an area dedicated to their guests' specific needs; reasonable prices. Overall, its very commendable! :-D
