This is a restaurant that would be equally at home in the Spanish or French countryside. It's housed in an impeccably restored Spanish colonial mansion, and the ambience includes beautifully planted terraces. The menu is essentially French-Japanese fusion, and strange as it sounds, it all works.
The wine cellar, while not extensive, is sufficient and the service is unobtrusive, attentive and excellent. Someone told me that the kitchen alone cost $250,000 to build and equip and I believe it. The food is simply excellent and is plated attractively and creatively.
At about $50-$60 a person this is surely the most expensive restaurant in Davao and it is worth whatever it costs.
