Just a few hundred yards from the noise and bustle of NCCC Mall, is this lovely quiet place. It is in Morales village, also known as Coca-cola village. There is an eating area on a pontoon over a lake, and we enjoyed watching the birds whilst waiting for our food. For those interested, we saw 2 kinds of egret, moorhens, barred rails, little heron, swallows and munias.
We ordered from their 'budget menu'. My wife had the tuna with rice, and I had spare ribs with rice. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the portion when it came, and both of our meals were very tasty. It also came with a nice slice of watermelon and a small coke, all for P255 for the two of us. We will definitely be back some time.
As a foot-note, it is sad to see on google-earth that the lake obviously used to be much bigger, but there is a new housing estate going up on part of it that has been land-filled. It may not be so quiet before long.
