It is a 26 room hotel with Good Location with lots of nearby restaurants( from seafood , Chinese, Spanish, Japanese cuisines ....you'll be surprised. ..I would say it's almost authentic) and sprouting coffee shops and it's within downtown, reasonable priced rates, , good and courteous service, clean and cozy room

Overall, I truly loved staying at Hotel Vincente. The rooms were clean, tidy and worth the money
spent. Staff was professional and kind. The restaurant from what I experienced was
delicious and worth staying around the hotel for the evening.
There was one big compaint. Noise! No doubt Phils is extremely difficult to find a
quiet location for a hotel. Yet improper construction and lack of attention to furniture detail
such as bottoms of chairs grinding against the floor are heard throughout the hotel.
Hotel owners/management should be aware that simple fixes such as felt stickers on the
bottoms of chairs can save headaches and sleepless nights/mornings. Its inexpensive and
the right thing to do for your patrons.
You can hear most of everything that goes on inside this hotel. Do your best to avoid
the 4th floor if there is a current function going on.
Wifi was lacking most of my stay on the fourth floor.
In finish, if patrons in hotels had any awareness/courtesy/respect for the others
staying in the same building..One would need not complain to begin with.

Room Tip: Avoid street front and the 4th floor during a function. Ask staff which floor is best for wifi

we stayed here May 2014.

I can't believe how cheap the room rates were if you think about how lovely the hotel is. Our room is good for 3 persons, and priced at around Php2,700/night with breakfast included! The feeling you get when you enter the hotel lobby is that you are just visiting a charming house. The people are all friendly and courteous. the breakfast served was very good in quality and quantity. The surroundings are quiet even if the hotel is just along the street so you will get a good night's sleep all the time. Spacious room, enough for you to exercise or dance or whatever you may think of :)

you don't have to travel far to see a place to eat, you have a million choices around.

you should try this place to believe all the good things i've said about it!

I love the homey feeling of the hotel especially the lush vine in the hotel frontage thats really very refreshing. The wood and capiz shell finish of the headboard and the vanity desk in the room were awesome, very Filipino. Very clean room, good beddings, staff were very accommodating and good location. And the bar is something to see with the old wood from the old Calma house as ceiling adornments. Its a home away from home feeling.

I visited Davao City for 2 nights/3 days this Sept.2 to 4. I chose Hotel Vicente because of Tripadvisor's review and also because it offered 30% off it's regular rm rate.I was pleasantly surprised by how homey it felt. The ambiance and aura reminded me of the mediterranean countries of Spain & Italy.Approprriately so because one of their signature dish is Callos. Another reason to go back again.
Bedrooms are immaculate, nicely furnished and the beds are very comfortable indeed. The ac units are of the split type kihd and therefore are quiet and efficient. I chose a corner twin BR facing the street and stayed unmindful of the not so noisy street traffic below. The bldg is 5 stories high with an elevator.
I felt extremely safe here because I always saw the owners around during breakfast and everytime I came back at the end of the day. I will always come back to this place whenever I am in Davao City and will even recommend it to my own family..

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the streeet which is not busy at all, the rooms in the back has no view.

I stayed here last year 2012 for a little over a week and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, service was excellent, and the wi-fi connection was stable enough to have some on-line work done. The free breakfast was ok but could be better. I forgot to ask for the brand but I did like their coffee. I do like its central location, 5 to 10 minutes away from the "must-see" places in the city and far enough from the bustling noise of the downtown area.
