“Nothing extraordinary”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

It was raining heavily that night and instead of risking getting wet I just decided to eat in the hotel premises. Went to Polo Bistro and ordered their baby back ribs - huge serving and tasty but for the price, you could get that and more from a local restaurant.

As the normal course in traveling, eating in a hotel should be the last option as it does not really offer the best taste and the best value for money.

“Superb food in a fabulous resto with great service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2011

When I heard Marco Polo Davao's Polo Bistro was going to feature Chef Chris Bautista's food creations, I immediately took a one day leave and booked my flight ticket to take the opportunity of tasting his "Bespoke" cuisine (with his friend and private dining partner - Chef Farah, who, unfortunately couldn't join this event.
After landing in Davao, I whisked myself away to Marco Polo Davao's Lazuli Spa for much needed pampering! By noon, I eagerly walked just a few steps to an almost glass-enclosed restaurant. A cold towel, a complimentary glass of their icy cold fresh fruit drink and a crusty, flavorful bread welcomed me. I will let the photos make you understand what a superb lunch and dinner I had at Polo Bistro led by Chef Chris and the Polo Bistro kitchen staff.
The staff were very friendly and courteous. Service was very good.
During dinner time, when the weather permits, they open up the glass doors to let the fresh night air fill up the resto and you can look up to the sky and see millions of twinkling stars in the clear night sky.
