La Anclar's best attribute I believe is it's location. It's a walking distance to People's Park for a morning jog, night strolling or visit to the stalls during Kadayawan Festival as well as where some of the nicest restaurants in Davao are: Toryano's, Tsuru, Banok's, etc. It's also just a few meters walk to see the foot and float parade during the Kadayawan Festival.
As for the room ambiance, we got a "Junior Suite", which was actually small and could only pass as Deluxe on some hotels but it was nice enough since it was cheaper. The room had a mini refrigerator and you could get water from their dispenser on every floor. One of the best features is also the very strong wifi connection. And for rooms that wifi couldn't reach, there's a lan cord outlet. They also provide fine breakfast, just do not expect you could order more than what they offer since they are limited to breakfast for the day only. The only complain I have is, I wish they have a longer shower curtain because it's really short. :) Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to those who are under a tight budget but want a nice place to stay.
