“Resort where you can find real Filipino hospitality”

The resort lobby/information lady was really accommodating. Resort have many workers inside the plantation and they seems happy on what they are doing. All are smiling faces. Carabao ride was a nice experience for all of us. The resort swimming pools are okay but it needs some renovations. The dinner served when we stayed were not likely Filipino food, the breakfast was nice but not too much choices. The lunch in the 'Labasin' waterfalls was just ordinary for us but definitely Balikbayan will like it. Filipinos are 'takaw mata' some of the visitors didn't even finished their food. ("takaw mata-means they get food even they cannot finished it).... The rates seems to be fine as it includes buffet dinner breakfast & lunch, the accommodation, entrance to the museum and access to swimming pools. They have worker's village there, wherein visitors may buy others stuffs in their workers sari-sari or convenient store. The souvenir photos are cheap also.

Our visit at Villa Escudero was truly great. A first time for me and my balikbayan friends, the place is a must-see by everyone for ita cultural ingenuity. After a long drive to Quezon because of traffic (so better go there early) we were welcomed with refreshing drink by the staff in their baro't saya. The tour was very Filipino as we rode the vehicle pulled by a carabao. It became more fun because the driver entertained us with traditional songs (Bahay-kubo, Hindi kita Malimot, etc) to which we sang along. We visited the staff's village, their chapel and the museum (the best!) from where we saw treasures from the Escudero family (thanks to their great grandfather who was an anthropologist). Beside it was a mini playground good for kids who could play while the adults are inside the museum. The best part is their lunch buffet by the falls. Just be ready to be knee-high wet but for sure one wouldn't mind at all while enjoying the Filipino food. There is also a swimming pool to dip in to. It is a value-for-money experience.

Our family made a day trip to Villa Escudero and had a great time. The carabao cart ride was a fun experience and my children really enjoyed it. The Waterfalls Restaurant was very pretty and we took some great pictures there. The museum was quite educational and not at all crowded when we visited so we were able to take our time viewing the exhibits. The cultural show they performed in the afternoon was great. We got to see some native dances and listen to Philippine folk songs. We did not stay overnight at this resort so I have no comment regarding the lodgings.

We had a very good time in this beautiful and quiet place. It was like being back to the old time Philippines. We stayed in one of the hut over looking the river. A bit pricey but a good experience over all. The staff are all polite and nice except for the gentleman receptionist who was a bit rude. A little smile don't do no harm. Also, he was on his mobile phone when dealing with guest. That to me is very rude. He did not even say thank you after I paid cash for four people! Very bad practice. He should not be in the front desk.

Room Tip: Definitely by the river.

This resort is also a working plantation and home of the Escudero family we met the owner and he is very nice. There are bamboo boats you can take on the lake for free and pools if you want to swim also a museum. The main attractions are the cultural show and having your lunch with water running over your feet. The show is really good.

we enjoyed our family trip in villa escudero.we had a lot of fun and the money you spent there is worth it!the carabao riding was so awesome and good experienced for my husband.the filipino food is delicious and you will feel relax coz of the nice view there.so many activities around it like swimming, rafting, fishing, biking etc.. good for balikbayan's & foreigner but make sure you bring your own drinking water for your own safety.pool is nice too but it makes our skin itch after swimming.and they are not so strict about swimwear and the shower room&changing area needs more renovation..staff are so polite&kind.the cultural show was so amazing&interesting!we want to come back again there even it was abit far.:)
