“Pampangueno Cuisine at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

The Pampanga region in the Philippines is well known for its cuisine. Everybody's Cafe is certainly the place to go for Pampangueno cuisine. The morcon, a "meatloaf" dish with a Spanish flair is one of the best I've tasted. If you are adventurous and looking for something different, they serve 'Camarro' a crispy cricket dish, yes you read it right, crickets. This restaurant was even featured in the Food Network in Andrew Zimmern's show a few years ago, for this dish. Or if you want you can also try their stuffed frog legs. Aside from these dishes, traditional Filipino dishes are also being served. Service is fast as most of the dishes are pre-cooked. This restaurant is definitely highly recommended.

“Average food.. more than average prices! :)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

I finally managed to try Everybody's cafe after all the reviews I have seen on many blogs. Frankly I do not get it, what is the hype about? The famous morcon was just what your Grandma's embutido will be like. The fried kabute (Stuffed frog), I did not try.. am not brave enough. :) The Camaru (stir-fried crickets) was okay, exotic as it is, its just close to eating an Adobo. I especially liked the Chicharon bulaklak, it was cooked perfectly, crunchy yet a bit chewy inside. This is for me their must try dish, together with their Tsokolate batirol to flush down the fats.
Overall, service was good and the food was not bad. But be prepared to pay $10/pax, quite pricey and unexpected due to their home-style, casual, cafeteria-like setting. I'd stick with Aling Lucing's sisig in Angeles. :)

“Great Kapampangan Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

Must visit for those who wants authentic kapampangan food. If you're on a food trip, this place should be on your list. They offer very delicious kapampangan delicacies. Some foods are not for the non adventurous folks, like the stuffed frogs and crickets. The place is not classy but the taste is heavenly.

“Food diversion”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2012

We were on our way home coming from a Zambales beach trip and was curious about a widely-reviewed local Pampanga restaurant. We visited their Angeles City branch. The place was difficult to find as I assumed it was on the main road of Mc Arthur Hiway, but was not. We finally found the place way after lunch time.
After ordering we were so hungry and just dug into the food once served.
We ordered the Morcon, but I found it to be too salty.
My wife loved their camaru (fried crickets). I was spared of the fear factor element once they said that their adobong palaka (frog) was out of season.
It was a necessary diversion to resolve the curiosity but I wouldn't go out of my way next time for it.
The place was clean and airconditioning was good - perfect for my toddler.
I still think Aling Lucing's by the railroad tracks is still far better!
