“Great city view at the Sky High Bar”
Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

My husband surprised me with a dinner date at the Sky High Bar and it turned out to be one of the most romantic dinners we've had in our 18 years of being together. The bar sits at the 21st floor of Ace Water Spa and has a great 360° view of Pasig City. It was a clear night so we could see far and wide. The bar has two sections, the lower loft which is great for groups who want to lounge in cozy couches while listening to music and the upper loft which is at the rooftop and is more quiet.

We started with the chicken quesadilla which was really crisp and delicious. The Vietnamese spring rolls were equally good. Huge cuts and great value for money. The appetizers are quite hefty. Another must try is the pork ribs with potato salad and buttered corn. Very tender and good flavor.

They had problems with their POS that night which affected the speed of service but every dish was worth the wait.

“Different kind of spa”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Went to the Water Spa because we had a buy one, take one coupon. Though the standard ticket is good for four hours, you can enjoy all the facilities in less time (especially since you get pretty wrinkled already on the second and third hour). It's definitely not just the usual spa massage/mani-pedi/body scrubs that are usually offered since it focuses on using water jets to massage muscles.

The pools were nice and clean. The different massage areas were soothing and great for quality bonding with BFFs. They're strict with what kind of swimsuit you should wear though, so make sure it's a real swimsuit and not just board shorts and a t-shirt.

The sauna and heated pools were also nice (though some were really, really hot!). Pretty relaxing and definitely indulgent!

There is a restaurant in the same building, though there are also nearby malls (e.g. Shangri-La, SM Megamall, The Podium, and Robinson's Gelleria) if you want to have other choices for food or if you want to continue your excursion somewhere else.

“Hotel Highly Recommended”
Reviewed March 14, 2014 via mobile

My wife and wanted to spend some relaxation this is the place to be! I consider it as a 4 star hotel as it is pricy but compensates at other hotel amenities. Excellent in cleanliness of the room, bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen has everything you need. No complaints there. It has a complimentary wine which is a PLUS! Security is excellent. The room has its own safety vault but didn't include the instructions on how to use it. Great city view by the way.

“Quality bonding time”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

I visited here twice already and enjoyed about 2 hours of water fun and relaxation. The first time there are 4 of us with 3 adults with a 10-year-old boy (my nephew), and this second time there are 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children, 2 of whom are toddlers).

They are strict when it comes to the swim attire with good reason. Hygiene is a priority since all guests must shower before going to the pool, and are given swimming caps (to be returned to a bin before going back to the locker room) This place is all about hydrotherapy through water jets. There's a "lazy river" surrounding the big pool area and there are float boards available for use. I appreciate the info given all throughout the water spa, the water jets have different target areas and benefits, the info boards also indicate the correct position to enjoy the massage, suggested time use, and the pressure (soft, moderate, or hard).

The steam and sauna rooms are housed separately in another area with the herbal pools outside of them. There is a small oval pool (cold pool at 3°C) between the two herbal pools and they range from 36-40°C. There are instructions for proper use. I liked the steam room cause I feel detoxified. There's also a water dispenser so guests could rehydrate themselves.

A kiddie pool with a slide is also there so it's a kid-friendly place, and most kids love the water. The lapping pool has a cooler temperature than the general pool area. I'll definitely visit again.

“Relaxing couple of hours”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

Good value for your money. 550 Pesos gives you full 4 hours access. The configuration of the Spa is nice. Installations are clean.
Check on the web the swim suit you have to bring (special rules), and bring along your towel.

Once inside only water available. Outside you have a Bar and Buffet, low quality food.
