Like most of the hotels in Manila, it's relatively reasonably priced, but it is an old hotel which needs some refurbishment. Check-in was easy and security "seemed" good, but the room had a lot of tiny bugs in it. I wasn't sure what they were, but just hoped they weren't bed bugs!

The rooms were pretty clean, and comfortable. Room service was disappointing.

Unlike other reviewers, we did have free wi-fi.

Be REALLY careful of what you are told is included - make sure you clarify.

Totally agree with other reviewers that we were HORRIFIED with the cost of breakfast. We only had fruit, toast and tea (sizeable buffet) but cost PHP 1700+, the equivalent of $40 AUD.

We have been told though that if you refuse to pay for something, it comes out of the employee's pay, which for them, could be weeks of work.

The location of the Heritage is good and the lobby is grand but beyond that it did not have much going for it. My first room was overrun by roaches. The staff was responsive and sent someone up to fumigate. When I returned to the room the air was heavy with the smell of chemicals and my eyes started to burn after a minute or two. I asked one of my colleagues and someone from the housekeeping staff what they thought and both said it was terrible. I went to the reception to tell them that the room was uninhabitable and was met with annoyance by the woman at the desk. One of her colleagues, who noticed the exchange, stepped in and immediately gave me another room. That room did not have a bug or toxicity problem. Later in the week 3 of my colleagues ate out and 3 of us stayed in the hotel to eat. The next day all three of us who ate at the hotel became very ill, those that did not eat in the hotel were fine. Draw your own conclusions.

I was impressed with the lobby. Very elegant. However, I was a bit disappointed when we went up to our room. It's obviously a fairly old hotel. But it was clean. No wifi in the rooms. The bed is okay, comfortable enough. I found the staff friendly and helpful.

The lobby feels like you are in a five star hotel but the room feels like you are in a 4-3 stars hotel. It is also a disappointment that there is no free wifi in the rooms! The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is too expensive for the quality of food they are serving!

We needed a transit hotel as we were flying out the next day for island. I checked the map and this looked like the best location - not too far from the airport and not under the flight path of planes taking off. Get a taxi from the taxi stand, do not accept 'special deals' from cabbies coming up to you. Taxi to the hotel will cost about 250-300 pesos. (Those 'special deals' could cost you 600.) The official at the taxi stand gives you a slip of paper with the taxi number on it so you can report if there's any problem. We were checked in promptly at midnight, no problems, no hassles. Beautiful spacious clean room on the 8th floor. Free wifi in room. Great breakfast variety. The front desk directed us upstairs to the casino to change currency since they had a better rate - no fee. You can also exchange money after you clear immigration. There are 2 banks (one might be Security.) GREAT rates and no fees. Remember to ask for some 100 peso bills ($2.50) to pay the taxi. Have the hotel call you a taxi when you are ready to go to the airport - no extra charge. The island flights take off at Gate/terminal 3 about a 20 min. ride.

We booked this hotel when we returned from the islands before our flight home. Staff, attentive and courteous service, convenience. breakfast, location all rate 5 stars! We will use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on an upper floor away from the elevators. No problem with noise at all.

You cant hide that the Hotel i getting old a bit. But the rooms are clean and spacious and the service is very good. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast Buffet would need some improvements. A special note and a big Thank you for Ms. Fatima at the front desk. She is the best. her Tips made the difference and her smile made my day ! Thank you very much. We will stay in the Heritage again.

Room Tip: Pay a bit more and get a room in the Horizon Club level. Thats on the 9th floor. bigger rooms.

Yes, the title says all. I was "a bit" dissapointed to find that thick and jucy cockroach, which I had to kill. I am going to complain about it to the reception. Usually, you can find those insects in dirty places, so conclude yourself.

As some people mentioned, the hotel looks old and not maintained for a long time. I don't know what keep this hotel in the chain of Millenium Hotels. The Bayleaf Hotel in Intramurous Manila was much better, very clean and cheaper (4 star), although it didn't have spa/pool/gym.

The breakfast was so so for 5-star (much much better in 4-star New World Makati hotel).

Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Location: 5 mins by taxi to the Mall of Asia.

I stayed here for a workshop, but would not stay again even for the good rate we got as a part of a package (PHP 3,300/night).
